Tarnotik, an NPC in Oldton Movalpolos, who warps you to Mine Shaft #2716 when traded a Snow Lily, isn't working for me. I keep trading the Snow Lily, and nothing happens. I called a GM about the problem, and he kindly directed me to log off and go to the PlayOnline Viewer Login Screen, and go to "Check Files", which I did. It found 5 files wrong, but there were just UI files I modified using Brandson's UI. But, I took the time (1 hour), to replace them, just in case that was the problem.

I log on after it finally finishes, and it still won't work. I've pretty much given up by now, and I know it's not a terribly huge deal, but it's quite annoying. Is there perhaps a level requirement for this? Or is there something I'm just completely missing here?

I want to solo off Goblin's Bats in Newton Movalpolos for some decent experience points until level 72, but now I'm forced to roll the dice and hope for a win, which is quite annoying on days other than Lightsday, so I'm quite pissed off by this point.

PS: Might it have something to do with that I've done Pulling The Strings and it hasn't been 5 days just yet?

At least, probably. I've never used him for getting to mineshaft because it's just easier to gamble. But I'd suspect that would be the case.

I'm pretty sure that once you win the dice game with the other goblin, you only have to trade him 2k for any future warps you want from him to the Mine Shaft.

this is true so long as you dont enter the ENM. once you go in the key item breaks and you have to gamble again.

Yes, I'd have just gambled, but I recently did the ENM.

It shouldn't be the time period with the Snow Lily guy. I remember an instance where I had just done the Pulling the Strings ENM a few days prior, but needed to get to the same BC for CoP progression with my static, and used the Snow Lily warp.

Ahh okay. Well then that's wierd, because no matter what I do, he won't accept it, and it stops me from being able to exp off the pets down there.

He would never accept mine or my friends either.

There is a method to get inside without any goblin games. You need to be able to one-shot the pet from the platform below, however.

Ahh yeah, I know about that camp. I didn't really want to buy a Vulcan's just for that though, lol. Thanks though.

It leads me to believe that there might be some sort of level requirement to teleport up there using tarnotik or something? I don't know really.
