First off, are these guys gilsellers? They acted like gilsellers, although some seemed to speak english, some had JP search comments. The thing that struck me as gilseller was that they all had errant body and AF hat, all the time. No JSE, no black cloak. Always errant body and AF hat x11. They all had same color ls pearl, I checked one to see Taruraru as ls.

We're meriting at lufaise meadows, there's 2 merit parties there. This place can hold 3 parties tops. They show up with at least 11 blm, and 1 thf pulling. Thf pulls, mass thunder IV, you get the idea. They are camped right on top of us, causing huge lag. So we decide, screw them, they want to camp on us, they get our AOE. We pull some birds, they get hit, and threaten to call a GM. We basically tell them our camp, been here, GTFO if you don't want our AOE. They take a hint and move.

Crunched some numbers, they aren't getting more than 70 base exp per kill, 42 as a low base. That means tops with chain 5+ is 105ish. They weren't killing that much faster than us, although they might have been able to without competition there. I estimate they were getting 3-4k exp/hr tops. Pretty sad when you try and overload and cannon and can't get more than a normal exp party. They gave up and left after an hour or two, after realizing that the two parties there weren't going anywhere. My party still pulled in pretty good exp, and rarely missed chain 5, lowest base exp per kill was 98.

So anyway, are these guys RMT? Either way, they are assholes for camping on top of us and trying to drive us out, and noobs for not searching a zone they before headed there for exp.

I remember seeing a lot of tarus and one Mithra in Sealions Den not long ago, and thinking they were probably JP, but they could have been RMT.

Main reason I don't have names - I was drinking during this party. I can barely remember the people that were in my party. I remember Moev was there, he might remember names. Anyway my case.

They might be RMT because:
-They were a big alliance of blm, at least 11 blm with a thf puller.
-All wore errant body and AF hat, all the time.
-They all casted in unison, as if they were being controlled by a single person with a controller split and connected into 11 machines.

They might not be RMT because:
-Not all blm were taru.
-Some appeared to have JP comments, although there was a blm cannon as the 2nd party there, and the JP search comments might have belonged to that party. (I just did a "/sea blm" and checked comments)
-At least one spoke decent english, and they threatened a GM call on us.

If these guys were all Tarutaru Black Mages I think we saw them at the entrance to Castle Zahvl Keep several weeks ago. They all waved at the Tarutaru who passed them and when I put my Black Cloak on so did they so we all looked alike. Seemed friendly enough to me and there were well over a dozen of them...looked like a full alliance at least.

I tabbed through them and counted 11 blms, although it could have been more. At least 7 were taru, there were a few humes in the mix.

There is a group of BLMs that will sit by Sozuu regularly at the top of the steps and mass pull tonberrys + nuke for White Steel. About 7 or 8 of em there alot of the time. Thinking this may be the same group.

That's where I've seen mass blms in errant before, at sozu. This group is bigger than the one I saw there though, that was barely a full party at sozu when I was there last week. This was at least 2 full parties last night.

Do you happen to remember any names or the name of the ls vang?

Ive seen mass BLM's farming Boyahda elder gobbue's before... with 1 Mithra THF pulling... annoying shits.

yea.. my hypothesis on this recent phenomenon is RMT getting creative, buying extra accounts as a sort of 'investment' and farming KS and BC in mass amounts to do cannon-style BCNMs for drops.

I traced these guys during my leveling from 68-71, in which time they went from 51-75.

At the time they all wore errant hat, seers bodys, and the NQ level 32 INT rings, with some other gear thats not really commendable, but it gets the job done I spose. It kinda freaked me out to see them all mimicing each other but I could never really hold this thought for long since I usually had an EXP party. I saw them numerous times in places, and they wouldn't leave for hours. When I saw them most of their pearls were bright pink, I'm sure, but I couldn't make sense of the ls name, nor remember it will since I think it was in romanji.

I did think they were being controlled all via one computer, they all rose up from the ground, and manaburned with too much precision to really call it luck... I remember telling allexxa for a while I was scared of them, I had a real FFIX moment where I thought SE were creating Vivi's! I mean uhhh.... Tarutaru Blackmages!

That'd be a great comparison if all the BLMs were in full Iqquira(sp?) instead of Errant and AF. =P

I'm not positive they're gilsellers but I've seen them all over. Qulun Dome, Sky (For DM), Palborough Mines, crowding our Dynamis-Bastok trailmarkings... everywhere.

I can confirm that YES THEY ARE RMT. They're nice people though, I had gone to check on Tiamat and they were there exping on Arch Corses. They then asked me if I needed the ENM item for here, so they showed me the way up.

Apparently that's most of what they do is ENM. Krebs speaks very good english and is currently going to college for English. Each of them controls atleast 2 or 3 characters at a time, but there is a person there.

Krebs is the only one who speaks English almost fluently. I talk to him now and then, just because he wants to practice English. He's also told me how a lot of RMT have been leaving because they can't keep up with the gil demands.
