Tattoo!

So my dad wanted to know what I want for my birthday coming up soon. I have no idea since I like to buy all the crap I have. So I was thinking of asking him if he'll pay for a tattoo while I'm in Reno, since a few friends suggested a place to me when I said I was going there for my bday.

Only thing is, I'm not exactly sure what I want. So I'm going to post a few and see what everyone else thinks.

A. Octorok - My original idea for one. I want the pixelated version from the original Zelda.

B. Stalfos - Same as the Octorok.

C. Link - I was thinking of Link from the original Zelda holding a piece of the Triforce, but I like the artistic look of the Wind Waker/Four Swords Link more. Although there are a ton of pictures I could use for Link, so I'd have to decide on one of them.

D. Hyrule! - Someone suggested to get this one on my back. I don't think I'd want to go through the trouble, and I doubt I or anyone sane enough would want to pay for it, or go through the pain.

I chose "other". I don't know exactly what you should get, but personally I don't like any of the options you have suggested. Sorry, just my opinion.

Only thing I can say is, it's got to be something you'll want to "wear" for the rest of your life. Hence why my 3 tat's are all Indian related (which I've said in numerous other posts). Personally something along the lines of your heritage you just cannot lose on. But again, that's me.

My husband loves to fish. Two of his tat's are fishing related scenes. One is on his left shoulder and he has a small mouth bass with a gorgeous scene around it of a lake with trees and mountains. Then he has a fishing lure on his right ankle. It looks like it's stuck in his skin :lol: . Lastly he has the Astrological sign of Aries on his right arm (cuz well, duhhhhh, he's an Aries of course^^).

Good luck though with finding the right tat for you, and lastly gettin' your Dad to agree it's a good idea.

I personally think tattoosare stupid, since they are often ugly, they are permenant (or as good as) and some employers don't like them in obvious places. But if you want one (and you are set on one of the 4) i would go with link from WW, simpley because it is the coolest looking. But i answered other because i don't think tats are a good idea...i'm probably in the wrong thread lol.

If I ever got a tatoo that is the exact one I'd get, cause it works for gamers and it looks cool as a fireball to others.


You need to get that on you shoulder or side of you lower leg, calf if you will

I think you should wait until you find an image that only you will decide upon.

What if they come out with a new Zelda that interests you more? Or perhaps you lose interest of gaming as you grow older. I can't say what values you hold in games, but I assume they're very high^^ However over the years these values change, possibly a Zelda type of tatoo would help you look back on good times gaming...It's all your choice and if anyone is to critique your tatoo it shouldn't matter.

Now this is why I say you shouldn't care if anyone critiques your tatoo. You are already asking us, which one do you think I should get?

Why should our opinion matter?

Does this mean if someone critiques your tatoo irl, that you will have second thoughts?

Well I'm calling off asking my dad for the tatt, but I may still pay for it myself when I go. And I think I've decided what I want for it, but it's not even Zelda or Final Fantasy related. :O
