I prefer deletion of the offending posts to locking of a legitimate topic, but I guess that's just me.

Yes, and yes. Most of Tec & Crew's posts are the not-so-subtle equivalent of trying to distract your grandmother from the pr0n you're kicking under your bed when she unexpected walks in. Yes, I had a very disturbed adolescence.


Rather than be dazzled by the not-so-mastery of disguise, we need to focus on exploring the wickedness further. I have the nagging feeling, for example, that if Tec had done this to someone who didn't know/care about QCDN, he would've been content to keep the ring. The only motivation he had in giving it back was to avoid some of the backlash for having been "told on." The underlying thieving attitude is still there.

The issue isn't closed at all.

its true you really should, but as shown here, most often you dont.

maybe tec wanted to quit felt like being a d-bag and took the ring, then gave it back because he maybe decided to stay...either way he still isnt going to have very much respect from anyone anymore.

but that isnt to say that almost anyone can understand why.

Unless Tec has been playing literally from the point of NA release, he hasn't been around as long as me. I'd also be willing to wager that the level of boredom I've experienced with the game since then has been at least as severe, if not far more so. I've literally run circles around my mog house for close to an hour, before, just idly talking with my linkshell. I've grown to hate my moogle.

Yet, throughout all of that, I managed to resist the allure of succumbing to supervillainy. Now, with the way you paint things, the temptation of turning to a life of gleeful crime is almost too great to resist. Maybe I have a steel resolve.

Then again, maybe it's a little easier for me to remember that behind each cluster of animated pixels on my screen, there exists another human being somewhere, controlling it. Either/or; I'm not sure which.
 
No comment on the actual events of the flame, but I do have a wonderful memory of partying with his BLM when it was 60, and getting to see him pop his elemental DoT scrolls (Choke, Rasp, etc.) at that time.

I also remember something about fighting Ose and how he had to have the Assault Jerkin because he couldn't beat Maat as THF without it, but knowing how THF Maat works, that logic kinda hurts my head, so maybe I'm imagining that part.
