So I was surfing the Asylum of Allakhazam.com since it's the closest thing I have to a news site and came across this:
http://technology.guardian.co.uk/news/story/0,16559,1589967,00.html
A small excerpt from it to tease your minds:
Could you imagine if things can't be resolved? Suddenly all the worlds countries splitting off and only your own countries webpages could be explored?
Suffice to say FFXI would be a bit difficult to play if certain countries were completely cut off because of their respective governments, and let's not go into the scary world we would live in if only the Japanese could play FFXI.
Thoughts, comments?

The linky thing above said:A battle has erupted over who governs the internet, with America demanding to maintain a key role in the network it helped create and other countries demanding more control.
The European commission is warning that if a deal cannot be reached at a meeting in Tunisia next month the internet will split apart.
