Just picked this up today, pretty leet skeet. Pretty similar to the other tenchu games if i remember correctly, only that you get to make a custom character instead of playing as a rikimaru or ayame. You unlock skills and clothing and items as you go which you can later buy in the store. I'm only on mission 10 but so far its pretty kick ass. Once i get a bit farther im gonna go online and check out what thats like. Gotta be pretty bomb runnin around co-op and slicein bitches up.

It's neat. Me and a friend have played a bit of co-op and it's pretty wicked. Interestingly enough, even though Rikimaru and Ayame aren't in this game, you can create characters that look almost like them..

Yeah i gotta try co-op online. I want to get through some single player first so i can pimp my dude out first. And yeah you can pretty much make ayame or rikimaru but you can also make someone diffrent if you want which is cool. Also rikimaru is in the game, hes the dude that gives you your missions in the single player.

co-op is same as solo just on team you wont unlock items/skills/or clothings but you will be rewarded money depending on your performance.

Gamespy gave this game a 4.9/10 rating >.>

Think it's worth a rent or this actually worth the price tag? I loved the Tenchu for original xbox, if this game is a replica of that with better graphics I'd buy.

Bah! I sold Panzer dragoon orta thinking they wouldn't re-release it on 360 ; ; guess gotta spend another $10 buyin it back

its fun, stealth kills get a little repeatative but its a fun game, ive had it for about a month now and its still fun, id say worth it.

You and your hacks chasym XD

I'd say 4.9 is way underrated, but I think tenchu is kind of game you either like or don't like. If anything i'd say rent it first, i straight up bought it though and i enjoy. I think its got some good replay value too. Even though the missions don't differ much, the levels aren't linear so you could flank down the left wall one time, then go straight up the middle the next, then go over the roofs a different time.

ya stealth kills repeat to much but has some nice stuff :P graphics are a bit upgrade from the last tenchu's games :P if anyone want to play co-op let me know hit me @ gamer tag = chaosassasinffx

Shinobi edit -.-

and 4.9 is underated ... i do give it a 7-8/10

Looks awesome i might have to get it.

Which ability do you need to do the kill in the second video?

Nice Videos. I been playin this some lately, pretty fun game.

Its ceiling, i think you need like 125 agility min or something. I have all abilities maxed and all that good stuff, i roll with 200 agi 170 str and 50 hp. Feet and Lurk are bad ass but you need to get the 1000 SK achievement to unlock em.

Ok cool. I just got my 1k stealth kill achivement today, so I got those last two skills. They certainly make playing on hard much easier. I guess I'll save up gold to get ceiling at level 2 or 3; I haven't gotten my ability's cap raised again yet, hopefully by then I will have enough.

You get your 2nd ability raise after mission like 36 i want to say. And you only really need ceiling 2, i mean you can hang for a long time, but you might as well go for ceiling 3 since, by now i have 5 of every time, bought every skill out to lvl 3 and i have every clothing item... still have about 40k too.

i need to make some money and finish game again ; ; stupid little brother want it to play and put new game and deleted my character -.-

Yeah, im on my third character. Had a pimped out guy but got bored with him and started over as a chick.

holy shit man that stealth kill was cool i played the demo at my friends house, i love the tenchu series :D

I know this thread is old as dirt but here goes.

The game had a price drop to $25 at Circuit City, not sure about other stores and I live in Dallas so not sure if it's an area thing either, and I couldn't pass it up. I've never really liked any other Tenchu games, haven't played 3 yet though, but this game is easily second to only Call of Duty's multiplayer in my book. Well worth the price it's at now. I wished I'd have bought it when it was first released so I could be all leet skeet by now. I don't see myself putting this game down for a long, long time even after I max out my chika neeenja.

Maxed out everything on my Ninja near a week after the release date, haven't picked the game up since. Graphics are a bit outdated, but the game is still fun.
