It all started here, with Tanjer's Soboro Sukehiro event.

For all those above who didn't show, your forgetfulness, laziness or whatever has paid off today~! :O
To start, many of the players who did show were an hour late, so around noon we start really getting together.
Those who did show including a late addition of a SAM Gunnerx, got treated to a fine display of how NOT to play Black Mage.
As we begin our fine journey, we make headway to the site, lay out the battle plan, stun order and such and begin working on our first NM pop for Madzraw and things were going pretty well until self-destruct came about and our DYNAMIC DUO OF BLMS (Tenia and Byla) could never pop a stun, causing 2+ wipes for most of the melee, aside your heroic MNK who figured, "What the fuck, bitch didn't it before, I don't think her dipshit husband is going to do much better. And I've no TP for Shoulder Tackle, so I'm bolting!" Oh yeah, and Obsessed, ok people but always had a knack for bitching about lost XP with each wipe which got old fast.
Aside from being incompetent Black Mages, they then get this snippy attitude with another runner when confronted about getting their stun order together.
Eventually I chime in and Byla proceeds to demand to know whether we want all three or not. Stupid question IMO, but for those of you who HAVE done this NM before, is it prudent to let your party eat a self-destruct or two before you defeat the NM?
As time progresses, and a fine display of WHMagery from Derp (no, I'm not being sarcastic for a change) we pull a victory out of our asses for Madz, who coincidentally is the only pop and the only recipient of the item sought.
After the fight, I just somehow let it slide that I could use a WHM/BRD in the near future and perhaps that job would be better suited since someone couldn't stun for a shit.
We begin to clear another pop and she gets snippy with me, and everyone on her side just recommends that I use Shoulder Tackle, if it's such a big deal, so I flex my MNK muscles and pop one before her Stun, and to my surprise the stun procced~! Leaving hers to take no effect and be reminded about the pisspoor second-rate Black Mage she is...
Kreoss and Gunnerx on Samurai had a TP advantage over me, using their stun WS way before the BLMs, and when I'd have TP, I'd toss my shoulder tackle into the mix and flex some more.
Seems like the WS stun doesn't like to proc as often, as say ohhh the spell?
Anyway, this is a rather poor flame IMO, but I'm running off an hour sleep and I wanted people to bitch to about these talentless hacks.
Oh, and now that I'm rather close to finished, wasn't there another flame on these two dipshits?
I'm quite sorry I got as haughty as I did in front of everyone Tanj, but those two are no one to challenge who I am or what I've accomplished thus far and I had to remind them that I may be a rather new player, but I'm no chump that can't perform well or better on each and every job I play.
This was a luxury item for me, nothing needed and a few of my socials will be doing runs I can get in on, I just had alot of fun with you before.
Even your cheery, optimistic attitude that never seems to waver which has amazed me time and time again couldn't keep this afloat, I hope there are no hard feelings, at least between you and I.
Anyway To Address Some Of The Runners Individually:
- Tenia and Byla you two just fucking suck.
- Obsessed, expect to die at events and take it in stride. Whining about lost XP is a downer for everyone and gets old fast.
- Madz congratulations on your Soboro.
- Jeska, you were 2 hours late from the gather time, but at least you showed and owned up. I can respect that. I wish we would have gotten to do a pop with what I think might be a competent Black Mage and maybe those two bumblefucks would have accidently stunned on time when it was their turn and things would've ween smoother.
- Tanjer you're still cool people in my book, and I just hope you choose to associate less with morons like the subjects of this post. They will bring Atomic a bad name over time through association.
- Everyone else, my sincere apologies to those who did show for this and had their time wasted by the two emo dipshit BLMs.
(Yes, I know I shouldn't have expected much better than this from a pickup, but forgive me for having a sliver of faith in others.)
