lemme say first that i do feel for you in the help aspect...it can get very ridiculous at times. What some people don't seem to realize is that after u hit ab 65+ there still is a TON of stuff to do for yourself...word about asomeone who helped out too spreads quickly...you help one friend and words spreads "Oh, ask Jamal to help, he'll get it for you!" I guess Golden Rule also applies here, which many lower levels often forget, and this is where when people quit between 60-65 it really becomes annoying ; ; as you would want to recruit the people you helped earlier to possibly do anything with u...be it farming, questing, Avatar runs, etc...but then its impossible to ask them to come along and help if they've retired there 60+ job to go back to Valkyrm.
My biggest knock against you wasn't from personal interactions with u, rather it was from a friend of mine. Slevin and I had been ls'd together for months, and all of a sudden he said he was being examined by a new ls...sounded odd to me, but i went with it. It was almost like a fraternity examination, you can only come in if u prove you want to help. Which he did...for the entire week of his "probationary status" he helped numerous other ls parties with coffer fights, only asking that he be included when you went on a run to Fei'yin for his af body.
The day of the run came, and he was told to get an af coffer from Eld first, and the party would stay for his bell and head to fei'yin. After the coffer key dropped, he sent me a /tell sayin he couldn't believe he was finally gettin some help on this. I said i'd come and help with his too (59 pld or so i think at the time). I get there and there is no one to be seen, everyone left for Fei'yin. I sent u a tell asking us for one hour to try to get the bell just us 2, and no response. I sent a tell again after you told ls you had one the first fight...no response. we got the bell in 40 min's...fighting dc shadows just pld and whm...almost needed full rest to ensure our safety, but hey we got it done. Sent a tell again, and everyone was leaving fei'yin. You lost not only Slevin, but myself too that day from the LS, as someone who had proven he would help and was in it for the betterment of the LS took a /slap to the face. yes he was new to the ls, as was I, only the 2nd day i had it...but that kinda treatment is undeserved and ridiculous.
Maybe the problem would be avoided if u just didn't promise help and go back on it... {lie}'s can do quite abit in gathering Hate on yourself, and i've learned a thing or two about hate control in my experience so far (cheesy joke #1) =P
