Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles

There's talk that they might be canceling the show, certainly moving it to a Friday time slot is not a good sign. If it's canceled, they might have gone for a quick wrap-up.
 
It was a ratings black hole no matter what night it aired. I'm surprised they even finished airing this season at all. This thing's pretty much done.
 
From what I understand, it was a pretty damn good show, although it had the perfect recipe for disaster: a big budget with a small-medium following.

It sucked pretty much all season, but I hung in there hoping for it to start not sucking. Last two episodes were like a totally different show, I loved them both! The implications of Ms. Weaver's reveal and the final surprise are huge, and could make for a very interesting second season.

Also, did anyone else get the feeling that

the Cameron we saw in the future was the human Cameron? I.e. the Terminator version is based on her. She seemed much more real petting the doggy. And that would have big implications for John's emotional state. The scene where the T showed him the power source was like, so raw and tense, thinking what's going through his mind in that situation is fascinating.

Anyway, I hope it comes back and they do more episodes like these last two.

Don't you mean third season?

And I'm kind of hoping they do make another season, I liked the way Weaver revealed herself to be a good robot, and now I want to know why she's fighting Skynet ; ; She seems kind of like a rogue robot who chose to go up against Skynet for her own reasons.
 
The tv series has so much potential but the writing was half assed at times. Some episodes felt like a bad family sitcom. If they failed in the execution, they shinned with some of their ideas, like creating a faction of liquid metal terminators who would rather avoid the war altogether and the creation of John Henry - the "good" skynet.

The Terminator's are self aware and learning. At the end of T2, Arnold had an understanding of what human emotions really were even if he couldn't feel them himself. More advanced models (aka Cameron) could even interpret sensory input as feelings. Some people even speculated that the liquid metal terminators were like a fucking super-computer.

Its been said that Skynet keeps the Terminators on a short leash, Skynet doesn't allow the Terminators full access to the potential of their learning ability -- essentially keeping them enslaved. Like the Centurions on BSG if you watched that show. I think the Liquid Metals and some other Terminators who became self-aware, decided that they liked freedom and that was their reason for fighting Skynet.

This show was fking awesome, too bad they're shutting it down for now...

It isn't Fox's fault no one watched the damn show, lol. They don't "owe" anyone anything. The show's bleeding them money every week, be glad they didn't pull it early and let the series finish airing. The show lost in every target demographic to RERUNS OF HOWIE DO IT. C'mon, wtf lol.

Considering that they still don't have any way of calculating viewership that tapes the show then watches it later via DVR's; I'm not sure that there was no one watching.
 
do they track hulu at all? i mean its how i watch it most times with my current work schedule :(
 
Second only to House, it was definitely my favorite show on TV. What a shame.

Who the hell watches live TV anymore? I DVR everything just so I can fast forward through the commercials.

The people who fast forward through ads on DVR records are the same people who flip to another channel briefly during ads anyway. Estimating how long a 2 minute break is doesn't involve any kind of secret voodoo talent. Advertisers aren't smart people.
 
Going to really really miss this show if it gets canceled. That last episode was really nice.
 
Figures. Just as I was finally getting around to watching the first season.
