I just think the thank feature kinda kills the flow of threads.Anyone else feel the same?

Kill is a bit strong. I will however say that seeing "Thanks "Aumar" (today)" after every post they says he isn't a dick or defends account/gil buying in someway is getting damn annoying.

Aside from that i retract my inital complaints about the system and quite like it, as most people only thank people for posts that are funny enough that you don't notice the thank you underneath or make you think enough that you also don't notice it. Its only when people thank other people for every little thing it becomes annoying.

I like it because you can search a person's "Thanked" posts.. It's rather nifty if you thank someone but lose track of where the post is.

Why the hell would anyone thank Aumar?

I like having all the "Thanks" in one place instead of six or seven people quoting the entire post and adding "QFT!" at the end. I think it's just streamlining threads, and that's never a bad thing.

I put thanks in for showing that: i see their point and that i probrably wouln't have considered it that way, they defend me, i agree with what they say

I think it is a considerate feature though it is sorta puts people into "groups" like this person will thank some person on this subject always whether it is inflammatory or not.

It's better than the rating system at alla that is for sure since you don't know exactly why people rate you down on a basis on not liking you, because they are so ultra-against what you say, or they simply do it for fun.

Like one person on alla took it upon themselves to rate down everyone of MagarineLaviselles posts on her Rdm faq guide>.>'

I think it's added spam and would love to see an option for individuals to be able to disable its viewing.

I am lookin into whether that can be done and if so, just how complicated it would be. I don't expect to change anything to the way it currently works before the end of this month though.

And....what do you mean by streamlining?
