I'm not good with mass goodbyes, and since its been so frequent lately its even more awkward, however I know some people will wonder what's up so here goes 
I started playing this game 6 years ago, and in that time I've seen so many linkshell wars, drama, incest, as well as fun things like doing events with friends, making new friends, accomplishing goals, and overall having a good time. While I did say that I'd never quit the game, I don't want to be playing this for any longer than I already have. Don't get me wrong, I have had loads of fun in the game, but I just don't have as much fun as I used to, and to top that its hard to play when I have work and school taking up my time. I found that I became one of those kids who stares at the clock and then rushes home to do an event, rather than spend time with rl friends. I don't wanna be that kid anymore.
So as to prevent coming back at all, because I really do want to end this once and for all, I deleted my characters and canceled my IDs. I feel that I accomplished almost everything I wanted to, and for that I have hardly any regrets.
Transferring from Carbuncle to Quetzalcoatl was the best decision I ever made. I escaped a linkshell that loved to put its own members down in sadistic hurtful ways, and joined a linkshell that is, put simply, made of win. Thank you Jamal and ShakenBake for taking me in during my time of need for a home, and thank you for all the laughs and fun times we had. My year on this server has been the best year in FFXI because of you guys. I'll be sure to keep in touch, and most likely will try out XIV when some of you make the switch (more casual gaming yes please).
In the meantime I'll be concentrating on schoolwork and such; two years to go before I'm a free boy. I'll miss you guys, and everyone else who touched me (not sexually you perverts).
