As for people being full of shite... Speaking up for someone, saying that they work their arse off, is just as meaningless as accusing them of buying gil. You weren't there through the whole extent of their leveling/farming process. With a reasonable measure of care, I could buy craploads of gil and nobody would ever be the wiser. And I could make as many cover stories about farming it or camping NMs for it as I wanted.

And anyone that claims to have retired/be rich at 24-26 based off of achieving a a management position at a chain retail store has NEVER been management at said store. It doesn't pay that well. ANYWHERE. I doubt most people even have the foggiest idea of how much money they'd need to have to retire that early in life.
 
Well the only thing I've said through this topic is that he logically outlined his achievements in a format that I found to be reasoned, and thus blew the opposition out of the water.

To create a thread calling someone a gilbuyer you better have a screenshot of them /telling you "Rofl, I buy gil, all the time, how do you think I got this suit? Huminahuminahumina!". That is what the gaming company requires to bust gilsellers, so that is what I require to bust a buyer. Admission of guilt. Anything else is suspicion/speculation on an individual level. I will explain what I mean by that if asked.

On the other hand to say that you're not a gilbuyer is not to be disbelieved, 'innocent until proven guilty'.

The logic that the OP and others used to deduce that meeze was a gilbuyer is the same logic that would make everyone possesing a 400k+ item a suspected gilbuyer. That is fundamentally flawed logic.
 
I made 80-150k from when i was 19 years old in sales and management.

While i was in sales i made some investments with people i work with that net me another 50k a year.

Retired is momentary, i plan on working my investments at the start of next year to make my annual income from them over 200k a year within the two years following.

If you want proof, i'll invite you to my house i'm buying in Monterrey CA, complete with ocean view, and prove to you how much i've made, then i'll show you my set up in game and show you how i make it. I only ask for one thing...

I simply said that most of the people posting on this thread (both attacking and defending Meeze) were full of shite. You've chosen to be a defender. Good for you. Bear in mind that since you don't live with Meeze and don't monitor his time 24/7, chances are that you have no idea how he makes his gil.

50K a year return on investments, starting when you're 19. Okay, let's corrolate that with your stated story. At the age of 21 you start making the "big" money in management of a store. Giving you 5 years from that point until now. 50K a year return on investment? During an economic recession, that's not bad. Considering that in all likelihood you wouldn't have had the necessary capital to invest on any large scale until you were what, 23? And now you want to reorganize your portfolio to QUADRUPLE your returns?

So basically yeah, I'm calling you a liar. Make of that what you will. I suppose you should be used to it with the way you "ball".

Actually I chose to attack the people who were attacking him.

Yes he could very well have gone to ige.com and laid down some of his hard earned cash on some gil, but they had no proof, and decided to be a bunch of high and mighty dipshits.

My problem with the OP is that is was inherently whiney. I just can't stand it when people bitch for no reason and then disseminate arguements and pull assumptions out of their ass.

I'm defending no one. Reason and logic may defend meeze in this thread - I was simply stickin it to some people who are, as you say, full of shit. :)

I generally don't care for the "OMGZ YOU BUYZ GILZ!!1!" posts either. Anybody can get lucky camping NMs, unlucky having friends retire, and/or work quietly to save inordinant amounts of gil.

But certain statements "I retired at 26, I'm hella rich, blah blah blah" cause warning lights to go off in my head and tend to bias me heavily against the poster in question. Especially considering that I know savvy investors who make more than he does a year who aren't even CLOSE to retiring yet. ^_~

On the second part of your post - it really isn't my place to criticize or analyze. I can only hope to have such successful investments to be able to retire at a young age.
