Hello all

I just wanted to say a quick "thank you" to Lilwhiteguy and Craventigress

I've been playing for about a month, mostly soloing because I am still feeling noob-ish. Coming up on level 20 now and I'm trying to get my subjob quest done so I make my way to the Dunes.

Over a few days I was trying to solo in there, but if I ever got mroe than 2 bad guys aggroed on me I was toast, so I started trying to group up.

Unfortunately, no one wanted to group with me.. I had a couple people ask "r u newb?", to which I rpelied "yes" and they would leave. A couple other people were a bit more diplomatic, but at the end of the day I was stuck by myself. I was about ready to toss this game.

Then I got into a real nice gorup with Lilwhiteguy... he didn't care I was new... he even let me have the items I needed from the treasure pool before I even got to the fight.Craventigress was also really nice, she gave me a couple drinks and some fireworks

I'm gonna stick around for a while now :biggrin:

Haha, It can be a bit intimidating at first, but don't let the asshats ruin your good time. Just because you're new doesn't mean you can't be as useful as anyone else ^^

If you need help with any Subjob items, feel free to /tell

What Tim said. It can be a real challenge starting out - and people can be dicks to new players, which I've seen too much of while leveling DRG in lowbie zones lately - but not everyone is as bad as you've experienced. If you need help you can just send me a tell, same as Tim.
