All they have to compensate is souleater rampage which gives the OMFGWTFBBQ ws once every 6+ minutes and drains enough MP that the party has to go without haste for a couple minutes as the healer recovers that MP.

As far as drk using absorbs and stuns... The only time 90% of drks stun is after their souleater ws pulls hate. And I don't think I've ever seen a drk use an absorb except right before they ws.

I've outparsed several wars and mnks as /nin using scythe. I take a bit more pride in my gear than most people do though, no matter what job they play, a lot of people let the job do the damage.

I've seen wars wearing SHs for fucks sake, gtfo and buy a fucking hauby or berk.

I love my DRK, and plan on going back to level it in a week or so, heavily. I take great pride in my gear and will use only Scythe and GS. Like the other DRK's posted above, there are very few situations where Dualwielding axes will put out more damage then a Scythe or even a GS. [Stun] [Scythe] [Abs-Spells] [Can I have it?]

Sad thing is though, when i used to play most merit parties forced darks to sub nin "for their safety"

If i fight mobs that i can Aspir, then i will try to absorb the mob as much as possible, making it weaker, softer, and less accurate, and making me a demi-god. If not, then i hope for a refresh, and i limit myself just a little, so i can absorb for atleast 3 fights, just the important stuff, str, vit, and dex usually.

I am only 59... but i cant imagine not using a scythe... sure holding two axes might look "kinda" cool, but having that big long shaft with a half moon blade of destruction looming on your back as if your only goal is rid the world of anything that looked at you wrong.

I have decent accuracy as well. My gear top notch (well not now i need to get a hauby and a vassago... but then i will be back up to date) Sniper and woodsman all that jazz. Sole Sushi chowin down, only using souleater when tank has plenty of hate, stunning gobbie bombs, berserking, double attacking Dark Knight Sunuvabitch!

If you have a really good tank or your pt has alot of MP to go around /drg is the way to go. And if you can learn to hold back and WS at the right times you wont be too much of a burdon on the mages. Watch how many jobs you can outparse.
