Last night had been productive for him. Faedryth had spent some time in Valkurm Dunes practicing his new skills in Ninja. Recently acquiring 6 elemental attack ninjitsu had allowed his skills to rapidly increase, and more and more often he was able to go through a battle unscathed.

Towards the end of the night, he returned to his Mog House where the kindly servant changed him to his thief persona. He then returned to help some travelers attain a Magicked skull. Sadly he reached the dunes too late and managed to attain one skull of the his one ghoul. Then he headed to the mines of Gusgen to get another. This done, he returned back to teleport at the outpost.

Managing to kill two ghouls, he recieved another two skulls and handed them out to travelers. Recieving little thanks in return, he was not phased. A thought struck him. "Before i head off to bed, perhaps i should see if the Valkurm Emperor is about."

Heading to its usual haunts, he met a kindly traveler named Tongan whom he teamed up with. His bare hands would not be enough for this beast. After patiently waiting about an hour or so, the Emperor appeared. Both raced to it and reached it at EXACTLY the same time which earned them both a chuckle. They kill the beast and.....HUZZAH....a rare and expensive hairpin. His friend Tongan paid him on the spot and Faedryth headed home to bed and blessed release.

I have taken on a secret art. I am not certain that I am permitted to name it, but i shall in secret. I have begun to study Ninjitsu. It is a difficult profession, but I feel the abilities I am learning may help me stay hidden from those hunting me. I learned that I was nearing the level in which Valkurm Dunes would help me progress farther so I attempted to practice in the secluded island of Quifim.

Passing through the bustling city of Jeuno. I recieved many messages from others who desired a Thief's help and I was forced to decline. Finally I arrived in Quifim and was not able to find any adventures to travel with. Apparently I had not mastered my abilities enough. Making the long journey back to Valkurm, I met many adventurers and fought with them too. Sadly very few were competent so I was forced to fight on my own. My skills did not progress as quickly as they might, but soon they reached the point where I can return to Quifim.

Not a very adventurous day though I did learn another spell. I can now blind my opponents which should complement my evasion and shadows nicely.

Faedryth

It had been a long day for Faedryth. Waking up with new bruises and the like. It was worth it though. New knowledge filled his brain and he struggled to remember it all. Quietly rolling up his bedroll, he planned his day. Funds were decent, but he had made a friend recently with whom he hunted with. With that, it was time once again to practice his skills.

I searched for adventurers about my skill level with which to practice against. After a lengthy time I finally managed to gather around me an impressive group. They claimed to be a Ranger, Ranger, Dark Knight, Summoner, Warrior, and myself. Now looking around at those already in the land of Quifim I noticed we lacked a few characters that seemed most necessary. We began to fight. Last night I had devised a method to maximise my skill increase while minimizing the damage I had taken. I would use my shadows to absorb the majority of spells that were thrown at me. I would constantly use Provoke (a hatred building skill from my early days), my elemental magic, and my costly shurikens to maintain my hold on the enemy while my comrades barraged them. It was incredible. We destroyed everything in our path. Once or twice we attained 5 kills without a heal, things I had rarely done before. This aspect of the day went quite well.

Later in the night, I helped an aquantince of mine hunt. We decided upon the Valkurm Emperor as usual and made our way to the Dunes. We waited days for him to appear but nothing. Finally my hunting friend showed and the three of us waited some more. Finally he appeared and after slaying him, we realized he did not carry the illustrious hairpin we so desired. It was a blow, but how well the day went, a minor one.

The most inspiring part of the day came with my association with a girl. Last night I had the honor of fighting side by side with a very attractive Mithra. I was enscorcelled by her actions and fighting style. We had exchanged playful banter that night and parted as very good friends. I again ran into this beauty today. We talked for a long time. She explained to me her need for a new set of armor as hers did not quite measure up to the opponents she was now fighting. Being so taken with her, I shall admit feeling much more than just mere friendship for this woman, I reached into my moneybag and gave her the funds she needed. She immediatly handed it back to me and refused to take it. I threatened to send it to her home if she did not take it now and that it would cause me a great deal of trouble. Finally, she took the money. It was a decent sum, but nothing compared to what I possessed. After a while more of talking, she suddenly had a wondrous idea. She asked if I would like to spend my life with her. I was taken aback. The thoughts had already entered my head, but to hear her utter them, I was overjoyed. While we have only known each other for a mere two days, I know that it was the right decision. Currently I am researching the marriage contract. I do fear for her being with such a man as myself, but I can deny my feelings no better than I can deny myself. Mistra is my destiny, and we shall be happy with one another. All I desire is to shout my joy across Vana'Diel but alas, I must stay as hidden as possible...

I have achieved my goals set upon myself as far as learning Ninjitsu. I recently achieved skills placing me into the 24th rank. I decided upon this rank as it will allow me to use some of gear in multiple jobs as lately i have become overloaded. The party gathered around me was splendid though I had issues with the White Mage. He did a decent job of keeping us alive and healthy, but one could easily see his spoildness of a rich Taru-taru. I have almost perfected my abilities to take hits i feel. The next assignment when i return to this job is to learn to maximise my Ninjitsu in order to keep the monsters attention.

After this was completed, I turned to my true passion. I grabbed a few quivers of Bone Arrows, a few pieces of armor and returned to Valkurm Dunes. There I met up with a companion of mine and along with his friends and a few others we met along the way, proceeded to decimate those opposing us. Unfortunatly we had a nasty habit of picking goblin hunting grounds and were chased away multiple times with almost all of us being knocked unconcious at the least once with poor Daroth suffering a staggering 12 defeats over the course of the night. They were not all with our group, but I still felt horrible for his pain. Myself and another ranger i met tore through the enemies like paper. Amazingly I found myself in a somewhat familiar role as I held the monsters hate. In light of this I decided to enhance my defensive skills with Fish Mithkabobs. I had eaten many of these over the past few days and though i grow weary of them, anything to further my skills. After we got going, the group worked flawlessly. I fell in love with my ability to destroy my opposition and now know this is my true calling for certain.

Finally Mistra and I have decided to place a date upon the wedding. I have enlisted the aide of my good friend to set up the event as placing my name in such obvious areas would be quite dangerous. We did not see each other this day but our hearts were together at the least.

Lol Mithy no Mistra is not you at all. She is an actual person that i met in game. We are engaged like i said, im not going to make up a marriage between you and mysefl LOL.

You want to level with ME?!?! Since when? You havent sent me one tell or anything like that you silly kitty! Ill hunt or camp or level with you anytime just let me know. Well have to keep it under wraps though as Mistra cant stand other Mithra being aroudn me ;P. Jokes...

And its more of a roleplaying journal. As you can guess i dont normally talk like that. Also there is nobody hunting me, that i know of anyways.

No more posting here!! This is only for your viewing pleasure :)

GRRR stop posting!! Lol...this is for FAEDRYTH....sorry i havent posted recently

It had been a long week. Many new jobs have come and gone. I pray that I am done with Quifim for quite some time. I actually grouped with a very impressive set of people one day and after this I was loathe to go back to others. Having hit rank 24 in both my Ninja and Ranger aliases, I pray I have left the cursed island behind me.

I have met a few interesting characters in my days spent there. One was a Mithra by the name Nahla. She is a very fun character though I quickly surpassed her skill wise. I believe our friendship will slowly deteriorate as the gap widens. My money has also begun to run short. Where before I had little worry about fundage, but the costs of arrows and bolts has begun to weigh upon my mind, it seems I must go and locate some funds sometime soon.

Lastly, I anxiously await any word upon my wedding. It has almost been a week since our chaperone sent in the application and the city leaders have still not given us any word. I pray that we are able to get the dates we requested.

Lately, Faedryth had felt a calling upon his heart. This place was not for him. As he thought about it, more and more the implacable idea that he did not belong here wedged itself into his head. At this point he was still undecided. He knew not what would be done were he to abandon his life as it was now and go off in search of newer things. This conflict had raged within him for a week now and still did. He had recently had some difficutlies with life which had helped to simplify his journey, but just this day things had been cleared up.

Zaken was well known to Faedryth. The two of them had helped a group of younger and much fresher adventurers make their way through the deadly jungles to Norg. Faedryth had done the greater part of the work, with Zaken heedlessly charging the undead crawling throughout the tunnels, nearly killing Faedryth and actually killing a few of the others. Zaken then informed him that he did not know all there was to know of Mistra. Faedryth held a measure of distrust in his heart at hearing this, for Mistra had told Faedryth of Zakens longing for her. Nevertheless, a sliver of doubt woke in his heart. He carried it for days, not able to talk to his love. Finally, after many days, he confronted her. Miraculously it had all be a ruse. She confessed to him that she was indeed whom she said she was, and Faedryth was overjoyed.

The argument was very strong, but he was not sure it was enough to keep him here. Sadly, another person whom Faedryth cared very much for, maybe too much, also pleaded with him to stay. Mithy was an interesting character. She would appear one day and then be gone for a week at a time. She had a very intoxicating personality and left Faedryth confused many times. With these two and many more wishing for his decision to stay, he again he returned to his thoughts. Still undecided, Faedryth went to Bastok, it was unfortunate that he did so, for it turned out quite badly for him...
