i did that on super mule's ninja from 18 to 28... the big one was kurayami.. Kuraymi:ichi I just spent 300g!

Anaeran's sidewinder macro:

"Time to miss! {All right!}"

Generally SMN macros, and BLM macros that are like

"Feeling, thirsty?" [Water]
"It's getting hot in here, isn't it?" [Fire]

I tried the tool price thing... Stopped after I finished making the macros, it was depressing. >_<

Annoying macros... Any frequently-used macro (most spells for mages, most JAs for melee, pet commands besides BP/Sic, etc). Exceptional offenders include Cure text, excessive Provoke text, Boost text, and balantly male macros on female characters "Boobs! [Flash]".

Funny macros: lolDynamis. "Cythe : GIGGIDY GIGGIDY GIGGIDY <t> [/assist]" Or I think that's what it was. Among many many others.

G-Prime. Hence why it's generally called the "G-Prime Boost Macro".

I did the gil thing for nin when I levelled it for subjob, got some good laughs out of the pts I was in.
 
Yeah.. I stopped putting text into most of my macros once I saw how annoying some were.. Now it's just like "Provoke -> <t>" and stuff like that..

Except my RNG, I still have those macros from when I had static..

"{Invite to join party}{friend}<t>{All right!}\^^/"

And there's a /p line in provoke macros? Damn I must behind the times.

I also went away from putting /p lines into my macros after I realized how annoying it would be if everyone in the pt was doing it, but my favorite on I used for Fire on my drk was /p "Mmm Mmm Mmm Mmm Mmm, Toasty" {Fire}
 
i dislike people that annouce who they are curing. it's like hay guys i'm doing my job.
 
When i was first lvling blm I had a blizzard macro called
"This is the winter of your discontent. Blizzard"

I think that came from all those old (outdated) macro guides, that used to pretty much all say "it's important to announce everything to the party." Provoke macros, provoke timers, cure targets, and all that. I never used excessive /p lines because I never saw a point in it. When I first started playing, pretty much everyone I PTed with used something like /p {Cure} ---> <player> {White Mage} MP: <mp>

I never saw much of a point in it, considering if you look at the text the game already has, you can see who is casting what on what target... And all that announcing it in /p does is spam people who have those lines of text filtered (so they didn't want to see them in the first place).

Oh well. I'm sure people eventually learn they shouldn't do that, and if not, they'll probably eventually get into parties that'll boot them if it's annoying enough. :P
 
for my Bluemages Head butt macro i just have it shout ZIDANE!.. ppl seem to love it lol..
