I know Willya was/is a good PLD. And I myself used to ask Matchuu for advice many times. Matchuu was one of the first few Good taru plds that I knew around quetz. I know that Shmed hadn't started leveling PLD till about 1/2 way through my PLD merits, so I know he was newer to the tanking scene about a year ago. The times in which I saw Shmed tank he could hold his own, as a taru tank. However, no offense to shmed(and I seriously mean that because you are an awesome person), he couldn't hold a fork to Matchuu's PLD tanking ability. I have never seen Masatarutaru tank anything so I couldn't compare him in terms of taru tanks.
I honestly think Jakey is up there as a taru tank as well. He might not gear his PLD as well as his DRG, but his abilities are up there as well, especially from what I saw.

No offense taken Jyakychan, but as I recall you had seen me when I was only a month or so into 75pld. It doesn't really matter, this isn't a pissing contest to me. I've been 75pld for under 13 months and I do well enough for people to ask me to come on pld even though they know I have blm and mnk. That's enough for me.

your words are very kinda thank you. I didn't think my small comment would turn into a discussion. I never claimed to be the first to 75 Firestreak and Random were way ahead of, but neither of them did any end game with there pld Firestreak was always stuck on blm in a very racist game at the time. I should of worded myself differently but it was a casual comment anyways.
I'm pretty sure I was the first Taru Pld to be a pld main in sky, not where i come on pld when someone doesn't log on and there's no one else, but to where I was the main pld and tanked every god all the time.
I'm pretty sure i was the first taru pld to tank tiamat, ouryu, khim, cerb, dark ixion... audino those are HNMs if u didnt know. Granted it was because i was allowed to join an amazing shell such as perseverance to even get a chance to do these things.

I leveled Pld during a time when ppl would mock and insult me, make up stupid lies like "taru pld cannot tank byakko, its impossible", i proved them all wrong many times and it felt good.
Granted im trying to compare myself to some kinda of minor civil rights movement but the taru's that choose pld now don't really have to go through what i did.

Perseverance came to exist years after these hnms were being routinely killed. Yes, even with taru plds. You weren't the first on Quetz, much less anywhere else, sorry to burst your bubble of self-importance.

I have a lot of pride in what I have accomplished, ppl may not think it is, I set a goal and I went through with it even with a lot dumbass's who i had to deal with putting me down.
