So a guy gets an xbox 360, it breaks down, He calls M$, they send him a box to ship it to them in free of charge and they fix it and send it back.
It also breaks.
He calls again, They changed their policy and no box will be provided.
He has to get his own box and send it and they will send it back in the same box he sent it in.

So the big box project was born, Big box? how about M$ recieves a giant shipping container, The ones you see on docks on big boats lifted by a crane and they have to pay for it to return it to him with only his xbox 360 inside.
PRICELESS

Lets not go over the top here. He looks to be striving for attention because this si going to cost him big bucks in respect that his donations don't make it through.

well the donations that he has recieved, some from myself ^^ lol, he has banked over 1000 dollars and has already got everything pretty much paid for, he answers the questions about "looking for attention" in the Faq, which is not at all what he is striving for, as he put it "David Vs Goliath"

But no one wins in this situation, no one falls. Everyone ends up paying in the end. Plus if this is published in the news, geuss what, publicity for microsoft. (not that they need it XD)

Yeah, if somehow he does send a frieght container, microsoft will just not accept it and send it back.

That'll show 'em.

Does their policy state they can refuse to receive a defective product under warranty?

From the warranty:
Follow Microsoft's shipping and other instructions if it determines that all or part of your Xbox Product requires return for repair or replacement. To obtain the warranty service, you must take or deliver the Xbox Product in suitable packaging that provides an adequate degree of protection against damage during transit, to the location specified by Microsoft. Except as otherwise required by legislation in your jurisdiction, costs associated with transport (including packaging) for warranty service shall be at your expense.

I guess they could if it wasn't found in 'suitable' packaging.

Could be a loophole there. They don't explicitly state that they will deny receipt of packages that are unsuitable; that line you bolded seems like they would call upon it for situations like "your Xbox was physically damaged during shipping. You failed to package it properly, thus Microsoft will not honour the warranty".
