I started this thread in Allakazham about a few weeks back and it was a very funny thread.. This is my first post on this site. So how many guys on this board have the same problem as me.... My girlfriend hates the game and everything about it!....
 
Dude... i posted on that thread and I'm already vice pres. of the club. But yeah, I've had to quit twice now due to it, and might have to again soon though things are slowly getting better....
 
I am happy to say I am no longer in that club. I don't get longer hours of play, but at least she doesn't hate it.

Why? I finally got her to party...And she's a cute lil Taru that just got her sub job. :twisted:
 
I've tried to get my girlfriend to join in the game but she just won't :-(

My girlfriend likes those corney match the color games that you play on the net...she's addicted to this game called Jumble Bugs...
 
We should start our own club.... The Club for Guys who hate girlfriends that hate ffxi....
 
I use to be a card carrying member of the club and I pray to god I never am again. Nothing is worse then wanting to just sit down and play some final fantasy and then getting shit for it. My exgirlfriend use to refer to final 11 as either the other woman in the relationship or my mistress. I had to put up with this for the whole 1st year I played this game, but I kept on playing. Kind of twisted, sad, and funny all at the same time.

I have a new girlfriend now, and I am hoping I do not have to rejoin the club. Before we started dating she knew all about how much time I waste on this game, so hopefully she won't be annoyed by it as much. But if you see me asking for the membership forms again in about a month or two, you will know why.
 
I'm not only a member of the club.... I'm the President!

My gf won't sit thru 5mins of watching me play, and actually she plans to put me on a schedule so that i don't dip into any of "our" time :wink:

Hehe, she'll see soon enough who wears the pants :twisted: .... I just hope that it ends up being me :oops:

I love video games, and am glad to support my hubby's...hobbies, lol.

What about the club for people who's FAMILY hates FFXI, lol, I used to have that problem, but once they realized, "Hey, she's not out doing drugs or getting in trouble, she's safe at home," they stopped bugging me as much.

I found a temporary solution to the g/f problem... distract them with another video game. =P

I let my girlfriend play God of War if Im on FFXI and she comes over.... but its not long enough to party or anything >_< And she's almost done with the game....
