desktop, it wouldn't really matter if I got another because I'm fairly sure the next day I got home from work I'd either find my desktop busted up in the driveway or a very empty space in my room where it was.

My parents have a malicious sense of humor, have to give them credit.

Not saying the above would happen but I would expect it, and hello Rannoch; Darsha told me you quit(again) how long before you restart again this time?

Ahhh... so the missing power cable stems from something you did/did not do when they told you to not do/do it?
 
Question: Are you the sole owner of the computer? Did you buy it with your own funds?
 
pretty much...I was suprised at least, usually I can understand but one day I cleaned the kitchen and I left a tub of corn out(small one about 3 cobs inside) then went back to ffxi then bed.

I woke up and found it out so I put it back in the refridegerator(sp) then went to work. I later come home to find it out on the counter, I ignore and go check my clothes in the dryer and notice I forgot to take them out last night(read: big pet peeve of my mom).

I take the clothes into my room and turn my comp on, which is what I usually do. I notice the power doesn't come on and i check the monitor cable(that's what is usually taken), but if it was taken the light would come on the monitor button. I look to the side and notice the power cable missing.

I naturally assumed it was the clothes in the dryer, so I laid the clothes on the bed and went to ask my grandmother what ticked my mom off this time(lol, gets mad easily), she said it was the corn on the cob being left out then being put back in. I wasn't really even mad that the cable was gone, so a few hours pass and I see my dad about the "issue".

I later heat up the corn on the cob and slice it off and take it upstairs to talk to my dad about it and eat it in front of him.

Dad >> Why are you eating that?

Me >> Because nothing's wrong with it? Usually when I leave something out I'd be force to eat it(fun times...that or salad hate that shit).

Dad >> You know you didn't have to eat that right, she wouldn't have asked you to...

Me >> It would be hypocritical to my putting it back in the refridgerator this morning and going to work as that would imply that nothing is wrong with it, myself eating it is implying that nothing is wrong with it(which it wasn't).

Dad >> Hokay, lol(paraphrasing, but he laughed)


So yeah, that's why I haven't been on and no I'm not kidding...

Morwen: My parent's bought it about 6 years ago for about $120 and it was for me. I live under their roof for free(mostly) so I didn't really say anything. My mom's just neurotic most of the time lol.
 
So wait... was it the corn or clothes that got you booted?

Your mother took away your computer cables because you left corn out overnight on the counter that was in a sealable bin? She's done this for like a month?

it was the corn in the sealable ironically, but we have communication issues in general so it's not just that.

And that's correct lol, and no lucki just ask Kay, but last I checked she's been hanging out irl with drik and smu=/

You could just ask davion to pl you I guess.

It's just getting to the time I need to move out, she isn't changing because she likes the sound of her own voice, all I do is let her hear it. No I'm not ok with it, I've just been thinking more of stuff outside of ffxi lately so it's not so much as a loss as I thought it would be.

Of course I'm not too happy about being pushed back into my 4 run day status either, but that's the only thing ffxi related that irks me.

I would understand if you left the corn out, out of the sealable bin in the dryer with the clothes. Then that could justify some computer vandalism. But that shit is just silly >_> Sorry Khi.
