think i'm not going to bother with it right now, found the connection and got the password in but it failed but then again the main wireless is upstairs and my wii is downstairs

If you're using a router, probably need your WEP key from somewhere.

yeah i called nintendo and figured it out but my question was in a form of a drawing request....

i entered the wep key wrong it shows as an error of 52030 if you get that error it's not in the book and it has to do with your wep key.

edit: at the sign of showing my ignorance...

If that doesn't work just fiddle around with the router settings. I remember it not working immediately for me.
Oh, and don't call. You get pretty much better support using the website.
