We no longer live there, and after writing the names of the people who lived there, and when, returned the paddle to where we first found it, so the next people who live there can find it like we did.

I officially have a place of my own now. :D

Signed the lease today, and grabbed two of my brothers and started some initial cleaning of the living room walls and vacuumed the brand new carpet. Atm the electricity and water are turned on, by the realtor company I'm guessing. So, I'm taking advantage of that and using the A/C and stuff while cleaning.

From what I can tell, the living room looks 100% better than it did when I was able to check the place out on Monday because of the cleaning we did today. Still have to hit the rest of the house, clean the fridge and oven and bathrooms a bit. Then I can start moving boxes over and getting furniture set up. I can't wait, it's so awesome! ^^

I should be fully moved in by the 13th-15th, since I'll be off that weekend. Yays!

Moving is a bitch. I have moved like 5 times in the past 4 years. I just moved again into a new place where the lease started on the 1st. I know when I buy a house, it will have to be brand new because I am sick and tired of fixing the previous owner's bullshit. Every time I get a place looking respectable, I have to move again because almost all leases here are non-renewable. I live in a big college town, so most of the owners want new faces each time so they can screw them over.
