Rest in Peace Rob Walters.

I knew him as a friend for 2 years. I went to a graduation party for my friend Angel and me and Rob reconnected big time. That night we were golden gods and the very best of friends.

He told me of his plans for the future and us being friends forever. His girlfriend loved him very much and if you knew the guy at all you would know he was the most positive guy on earth that got dealt the hand of being born in a piss small town in Ohio where the only option for you is to work at the local Taco Bell or do every drug on earth till you die with no way to get out.

Well last night I was thinking of heading down to Ohio (I live in Michigan) to visit him. I wake up this morning to find out he hung himself 3 days ago.

Life is unreal at times, I don't know how to feel except empty because I had just then became that level of friend to the guy and the whole notion of crying seems absurd for that reason alone.

My prayers are with his girlfriend and family.

Here are some pics of me and Rob from that night. Rob wore the brown shirt while I was in the black.

I'm sorry to hear about your loss.

When someone we know to us dies, despite their level of closeness, we often feel 'empty' or in shock. This is very normal. You may, or may not go through various feelings such as anger, sorrow, and guilt. However, you don't have to feel these ways, and even if you were very good friends, you may not experience these emotions. Grief is very personal and different for all people. Just remember not to grieve the way you think you should, but how you feel like you should. You may never cry, but that doesn't mean you're not sad about what happened.

If you need someone to talk to, hit me up in a PM.

He had plans for the future and was very positive. What could have drove someone like that to kill themselves ? From what little i know, that doesn't add up. You guys should have a meeting to further find out of this is worthy of an investigation. You all look very happy in those pictures.

This happened to me a few weeks ago as well. One of my closer friends committed suicide -- the manner I don't know, and don't care to know.

I've dealt with suicide a lot, in my opinion. Chances are, it will never make sense, at least not completely. Being pissed at him, other people, and yourself are totall normal - don't beat yourself up if you have those feelings. I am sure there are others feeling his loss, too, and I'm sure at least some of them would like to talk about it, so don't be afraid to share your grief. Some people don't mourn that way, they choose to work through it alone. That is okay, too. Just recognize it is something that needs to be worked through emotionally. My heart goes out to you, man, and to his other friends and family.

I know what you mean about surreal moments when you just kind of swallow hard and catch your breath and try to make sense out of something that is inconceivable. I know there's nothing I could say that can console you, though I wish there was, so all I will say is that if you need to vent, you know how to reach me. It's awful to lose someone like that, especially someone you were just thinking of. My condolences to you, his family and all the others who held him dear.

My condolences towards you and your friends family. This is something no one want to go though, and it's always saddening when a life passes away before an elder age.

Again, sorry to hear this Mr. Takum.

My condolences. Rest in Peace Rob Walters.

Always tough to lose a friend, and at first will feel as if your heart has been ripped from your chest. After the tough times, it's the memories of when times were good that will fill your heart back up with hope and let you live for the both of you. Stay strong and he will be with you forever.

I'm very sorry Tak, hope all will be all right with you.

Thanks for all the kind words folks, its appreciated for sure.

I woke up today feeling a lot better and realized that I will live my life the way he wanted to live his given the chance. When I get that life Robby always strove for it will be nice to think I did him proud since he wanted that for me as well.
