If you had bothered to be patient, you probably would have been accepted.

He was probably being watched to see if he was actively leveling. He wasn't showing any promise from everything I've seen.

Endgamer said:
It's not like he wasn't contacted because he wasn't a BRD or RDM, its because he wasn't a worthwhile hand to feed. He doesn't bring anything to the table that was needed/wanted.

Endgamer said:
They can wait a month.

Do you respond to all the credit card forms you get in the mail? A credit card is a useful thing, and a 72 PLD is a useful thing, but I don't need another one of either right now.
Endgamer said:
If you're not responded to in a timely matter, move on. It's as simple as that.

Endgamer said:
A 72 Paladin(not real) just wasn't needed.

Endgamer said:
MMO characters aren't even physically tangible.

Endgamer said:
Not everyone is useful for everything. I don't hire people for positions that are filled. I don't subscribe to services I don't need. I do not buy items I will not use. Deal, or get the fuck out.
Endgamer said:
Expand your usefulness to increase your chances at getting where you want.

Endgamer said:
This should be common sense to any person.

Amen, endgamers. You totally get it.

That starved for attention already?

I think we do. I'd like to argue this point as the thread blows up but I need to leave work.

I'll start by saying this:

One more body within the linkshell is one more person that needs to be outfitted with gear, and one more person with expectations that need to be met. As a leader, you need to control the roster in order to make sure you have job balance and versitility without being wasteful of others abilities.

If you do not truely need the person within the roster, I think it is more respectful to say you are not needed instead of including them, wasting their time by making them sit on the bench and letting their enthusiasm go to waste.

Another shell with needs, will pick up that unwanted person and they will be utilized effectively. I don't see anything wrong with what you are describing above.

Oh I'm sorry. "I can wait a month." My APOLOGIES, endgamer. So sorry, so sorry.

*draws a dookie in the sand*

I'm a Dynamis!

You're just supposed to move on. Silly, the endgamers can't be expected to SAY something. It's the non-endgamer's way to scrounge around looking for applications to fill out so that they can be not-told that they're useless. Didn't really say that in the application though. How 'bout that...

Real Life Mantra: If you're not talented enough, or meet whats required, don't expect to advance. The end.

Hence why you're stuck in Dynamis. Not even CoP Dynamis, ZILART Dynamis.

Clearly, as someone becoming a doctor, you follow the same creed. Otherwise, give up your position to Homeless Bill.

You mistake entertainment for real life. Fun needs no talent or prerequisites. We can always use one more fun player. And as a doctor, no. That is the furthest from acceptable in my world as one can possibly get. That's why I'm me, and you're just an endgamer.

Invic won a CoP dyn, btw. Oh no. Run, skaw. Daddy's coming.

Let me guess, you won Bubu? (The CoP dynamis equivalent of Bastok)

It's not fun to extend the amount of time an entire linkshell spends in sky by months taking on extra people that aren't needed. It's a different story when you're inviting friends of members, but picking up random dead weight doesn't benefit anyone but the dead weight person.

You act like you actually expect to finish something, and that once you're all happy you'll quit. We get it already. They're all dead weight to you if you can't specifically use them to cover the spread between what the old players think they deserve and your ability to maintain the strength to get what you want.

Why don't you just do what other endgamers do? Just tell them you'll get them their ****. You won't REALLY have to spend extra months getting them anything. They're just a credit card, Stouter. Declare bankruptcy at the end and be done with the BURDEN of new people.

Congrats, now you're only a year behind everyone else.
Year from a MD, actually. And you're. Still. Just an endgamer lol

And you're still just a dynamis player. Snap.

And i'm just over a year from my first shot at the Bar exam.

lol you say that as if you expect to fail, when people have taken it without studying, without education...and passed.

Nope, i expect to pass it with flying colors. Its just my first possible chance, about a year before the average person would take it.

But of course, thats a RL issue, which is about as relevant as your attaining MD sometime.

oh no. you sure burned me there.

ice burn.

I mean, after over 3 years of playing, I'd hope I'd be an endgamer. Otherwise I'd be pretty pathetic taking so long to get there.

Are you going to justify your pathetic existence and world view, or are you going to sit there and say stupid crap like "ice burn"? Honestly. Not helping your kind out here. Let's let the topic cook to see if any of the better-quality endgamers have something to say.

Endgame is like a sports team. You take on people, you have fun, but you also take it reasonably seriously. Some guy who may be a hinderance to that team effort should not be allowed to file a discrimination lawsuit because his skills suck.

Linkshells don't advance by constantly taking on new people, they advance by getting a group of people who can work together, and going places with them. For most people, advancement = fun. Not advancing and grinding the same content for 4 years = not fun. And when it comes down to it, the fun of the people already there > the fun of those who arn't.

As people quit a shell, sure, replace them with new people, but also have the sense to kick said new people if they suck, or otherwise don't meet some requirement (Hard to chainstun as RDM73, for example). Level your job to 75, then worry about things that will eat your exp and time.

In short, who the hell are you to tell us how to have our fun?
