Doing that instead of just saying "This party isn't working out, sorry guys" or something along those lines, would lead me to believe that it's definitely not acting.

i did that once. one of the members messaged me and said the everyone in the party was bitching about me but he gave me props for being honest.

I just go "I'm out BITCHES" and Teleport the party. /rdm for fast cast and hope no one's paying attention.

I remember I was in a party with my friend and he was on BLM and the WAR kept bitching him out. So he got fed up with it and warped him. Funniest shit was he did realize it for like a minute lmao.

Strategy best implemented by RDM/WHM for chainspell. They never see it coming. Had this done to a few merits that went south because egos got in the way.
 
I tele'd a Pt once in Bibiki bay by mistake. We weren't doing too well so I wasn't paying much attention, got my macros mixed up and before I knew it we were at Tele Mea. I felt a little bad but everyone was tired and didn't seem to mind lol.

ahaha yeah i admit, I did fake the D/C more times than I can remember. No point bishing though. ahhh. It's annoying yes, but whatever, dudes. sometimes, things come up. Sure, he can stand there and explain or wait till replacements arrive, but sometimes life doesn't wait like that. GOtta remember it's only a game. You can't hold dinner reservations for 1000TNL or whatever. Shiet happens,ya know. I guess since someone knows they would have to wait for rep or have to immedietly log off, they'll just pull teh plug. Don't you think that's easier?
Sometimes people even take it badly if someone has to leave and even give an explanation as well. Its happened to me many times.

Dinner reservations aren't exactly the best example, because you know about them waaaaaay in advance and if you have the slightest sense of courtesy, you can share that info with your party too. :P

Just say you have to go and go.. Much better than pulling the plug and make 5 people waste 10 mins.

yeah, I know what you're saying, but sometimes, you just hate having to do that. Like with myself, I hate having to stand in front of 5 others and tell them that i've got to go. I don't want to hear the negative criticism so I would simply just d/c.

Sure, dinner reservations wouldn't be a bad example, but things do come up. I put that out in a bad way earlier. haha, like for myself, I just eat dinner whenever. SO when a friend calls me and tells me to meet them elsewhere, then i'm gone.

Hell, I know the pulling the plug sucks, but whatever, dude. I hate to be the victim but shiet happens! I understand that so I wouldn't get upset. Just find a new person and go on with 5 for awhile.

Yes, I know i'm a total ass but i'm at least a bit rational

I understand this, but part of growing up is facing up to things which are sometimes easier not to do.

force dc = 5 x 10 mins wasted
saying "I gotta go now and I'd rather not dc though" = 5 x 0 mins wasted

You may get a grumble, but if a leader had a choice, he'd rather you just say you gotta go.

I'm sure there are people who take note of force dc people and avoid inviting them. Best not get that kinda rep.
