The Flamboard is a stupid idea and should be deleted.

Flameboard is garbage I agree... notice we are the only server with one, and we are the only server with such bullshit problems between NA linkshells with all the rumours and garbage thats spread on here.

Nah, other servers have it too. Have you ever read some of the drama in ffxionline's server specific chat? All the servers have drama, they just don't have a dedicated place for it, so it gets mixed in with everything else.

The flameboard has actually done a good job of attracting people to the forums. People hear about it and feel the need to say something in it, thus they register. The side benefit is they usually stick around and participate in the rest of the board. I haven't seen any other server have so many members from one server on one forum.
 
this is the only forum i read and ive only been flamed once :( and it wasnt even about me i just happen to be roomates with him..

It's also hard to not smoke and drink when there's cigarettes and alcohol around, yet I manage to stay away from both.

Amazing how personal responsibility and self-control work nowadays. If you don't like the content of this part of the board - DO NOT CLICK ON IT. Don't post, don't go to these posts, just enjoy the rest of the site and pretend like the Flameboard doesn't exist.

I think most people read with caution. Alot of he said/she said stuff so can't hardly take anything seriously unless there is something too prove like pics or someone showing their true colors.

I agree with Cubs, if you don't like the flameboards then don't post and read on it.

The flameboard serves many very useful functions. It allows people to make a case of why a player is bad at their job. It allows players to air grivences. And it also allows other to vent if they had a bad playing experiance.

Now, if this isn't you cup of tea, then don't read it. If someone posts about you, make a thoughtout retort, and spellcheck it. If your argue your point, and people still are flaming you, then maybe its time to consider the validity of the flames.

Well if you factor in that you would want to gloat as soon as possible and that your lack of grammar obviously means that you don't bother to check your posts, then i would estimate that the ToD would be a few minutes before the time that he recieved the PM. Yes PMs state the time they were sent...amazing isn't it?
