Mobile Suit Gundam 00: Gundam Meisters

Coming out in October when the 2nd season should start, this game's plot is the ENTIRE First season.

Coming out on PS2.
Anyone gonna import this too? ;)

Are they FINALLY going to make the goddamn gundam move fast, or is it going to be slow as shit like every other gundam game in existence?

Seems like it, Next semester I'm gonna start Importing ALOT of Gundam games and merchandise to see which would be the best. Thing is most Gundam Games are based off of the Universal Century of Mobile Suit Gundam 0079 rather than the other series, though I could be wrong, I have seen 1 or 2 G Gundam and Gundam SEED games floating around.

I don't think I've ever heard of a good gundam game before.

If you have a PSP and don't want to wait for this game to come out, check out Gundam Seed: Rengou vs. Z.A.F.T. Portable. There's your campaign mode for both sides, plus an arcade mode where it's a brawl between you and 4 (or maybe more) mobile suits. Controls are very friendly and would take no time getting used to.

It's fast paced, action (not rts), and just overall damn good fun.

This is for the Playstation 2? Either they came to a sad realization that the PS3 is no bueno or heads rolled when Mobile Suit Gundam: Crossfire was a dud. Either way, there's no such thing as a good Gundam game unless it has to do with the series where all the mobile suits with strong racial undertones fuck each other up. Like the mexican gundam with a sombrero. Was there a mexican gundam with a sombrero? There should be a mexican gundam with a sombrero.

Short Answer: Yes

Long Answer: Hell Yes.

Mainly because the PS2 is still a powerful system in Japan that now sells around 10,000 units a week, though PS3 is beginning to catch up.

MSG: Crossfire was pretty successful in Japan though I think, Famitsu gave it a reasonably good score compared to the bad reviews it got over in the US and EU. Mainly because its Gundam lol.

And yes, there was a Mexican Gundam... with a sombrero. G Gundam man, so awesome.

THERE is your mexican gundam!

G Gundam, so cheesy yet so great.

I played a good Gundam game once. I think it was called Super Robot Wars Alpha 3.

lol Tequila Gundam...

The ACE series is... okay. Gameplay can be a bit messy, and jamming every mecha series in the world into one game can get a little confusing at times, not to mention that the suits can be grotesquely imbalanced against one another in pvp mode.

Getting this simply coz I had the other one and my Puppet is named after Quattro Bajeena =D

Ok, the game has been released today and already the ending that every person who watched season 1 knew about was posted.

Spoiler:
Just as I thought, they expanded on the Season 1 ending with an anime cutscene, it shows a slightly more graphic version of Lockon's death, Allelujah's insanity after losing Hallelujah, Tieria visiting Lockon's grave with Lyle behind a tree, and the revival of Celestial Being during the timeskip from 2308 to 2311. A rather fitting end which shed more light on the end of S1 and the transition to S2.

For those who are interested, I found the game on ebay for around $72 with an additional $4 for postage and packaging from Japan. I'm gonna be picking this game up later next week and I'll probably review it.
