The fact is, Uzor is right here. This is not a pointless flame. I've disagreed with Uzor more times than I can count, but he has validity in his statements. Their are countless rank 10 noobs, who have leveled other jobs up, that assume /nin = win for the dual wield.

To use another phrase so commonly thrown my way, if you don't think its a good thread, then ignore it. No one forces you to read his GD posts, just like no one forces me to read Celv's good times. But you, like me, can't stay away from them, and are obviously bothered by the amount of them that appear.

I had a WHM melee in a KRT party so we could lvl3 Light Skillchain.

On topic: People still think Dual Wield 1 makes them swing faster at an appreciable rate for some odd reason. And no one notices sub ranger is better for a lot of stuff at low levels starting at 20 since it's a straight up +10 accuracy off the bat. And if you happen to be a THF it has the double benefit of helping bolts to land. Ranger on the other hand can't sub itself and nothing else really gives it much benefit, so most just go /NIN, probably not the best choice, but I can't think of anything off hand that would be drastically better from 24-30. (Anyone subbing NIN just for dual wield, especially when the offhand gives you no benefit and you only have dual wield 1, needs to be dragged over the hills and shot multiple times with a Iron musket).

No, but DNC needs TP in order to do anything. We hit really weak, the faster we can get TP, the better we can cure and enfeeble. Its like a mage's MP. Without MP they can't do anything, without TP we can do anything. Dual Wield doesn't increase TP gain. That'd be like a WHM subbing, say, WAR. It serves no purpose most of the time.

A lot of flames have the tasty bits later in the thread. In my case, I was just venting. But I guess you're too busy trying to prove me wrong, to have snapped that up the 5 times I've said it. So I guess I'll say it again. I'll give you another e-peen dot if you can find where in this post I've said I was just venting.
