I've always wondered something. In all honesty. Why does everyone "go with the flow" and sub NIN at 20? I mean, really, I somehow doubt its because of the awesome benefits of Resist Bind and Stelth, or the limited use of invis.

Sure, I can understand subbing it at 24 for Utsusemi, but really, before then, the only thing you get is Dual Wield. And really, please, dear god, explain to me why 10% delay reduction, bringing your 190 daggers to a total of 342 delay, which saves you 0.4 sec between attacks, and lowers your TP from 5 per hit to 4.9 per hit is good for a dancer? Nevermind our low accuracy could be better by subbing RNG for Accuracy Bonus, or even DRG for Attack Bonus, thus lowering the chance for those dreadful 0's, and Jump for some extra TP and damage every 1 min.

So really? What's the big fucking deal? This has been bugging me since way before. On, say, THF's, WAR's (who, btw, are much better of not gimping themselves by dual-wielding axes, and just using their Great Axe.

Additionally, why do people feel the need to hold the party up for a LONG time because they want to save less then 150 exp by getting raised? Instead of waiting 10 min for a raiser to come, then 5 min for your Weakness to wear, you could have just HP'd, and then used the OP to get to camp in less then half that time.

So a big fat fuck you to all the idiotic melees subbing NIN pre-24. You're gimping yourself and I will hate you to death. There's several other subs more beneficial to you and your party then NIN at that level. I'm glad at least not EVERYONE are that stupid, since a great deal are at least subbing MNK still.

I mean, really, you pay 2 mil for a lvl 33 neck piece that gives +10 accuracy. How much wouldn't a lvl 20 one be worth? Surprise surprise, this one is fucking free.

Old news is old.

Has it really been that long since you leveled a low level job?

yay for gay flames

Uzor struck me for more of a Scholar fellow than a dancer. That whole mage thing he has going on and everything.

I don't get it. Last I knew, Everything/NIN was de facto standard?

STOP CONFUSING ME GODDAMN YOU.

Oh yeah, this flame died a horrible death halfway through the OP.

Wait, a guys playing dancer?

Not many people are really gonna calculate or consider that while they press the Support Job button in their Mog House in front of there mid-aerial pirouetting Moogle.

Plus like me when I was raising THF and BLU, I've been told to sub NIN when I hit 20. I never considered those things to be a factor. I just liked looking cool with 2 weapons on.

maybe they are planning on xping for awhile and dont wanna slow it down to go change thier subjob.

No, and last I played through it, everyone wasn't fucking retards. Its like the FFXI population reached an all-time low.

And no, this isn't so much a flame as me venting. Seriously, Subs 'r Us should be an obligatory part of the SJ quest. What's next, THF's subbing SMN for carby pulling?

And no, they don't do it because they plan to exp for a while. When asked about it, they say "Dual Wield". They also say that it will increase their attack, ironically. One of the reasons was "Because my two daggers will attack harder then your pathetic dagger", or something to that extent. I just know it was a really, really, stupid reason.

So no, they don't think, they just do it. Obviously because Dual Wield is the end-all reason to sub NIN at 20. Let's completely ignore the fact that it won't change your extremely pathetic damage of 0-5 to attack 0.4 sec faster (really only 0.2, but whatever) with daggers on crabs. It won't help your overall DoT at all.

On that note about daggers and dual wielding. I used Swords on THF till I could SATA Viper Bite (had dagger lvl'd for kicks with RDM)

well nothing would really matter to much at that lvl you could sub whm or brd if you wanted and dmg would no sway to much. Most the time they probably do because that the sub job the have lvled and handy not caring about lvling another sub at that time.

Yeah, pretty much the only viable reason for Dual Wield at 20 is so you don't have to swap out sword/dagger to keep it them skilled if it's your first time through using dagger and THF.

My brd got kicked from a pt at lv 20 for asking people to not dual weild pre 24 at minimum. This is nothing new uzor.

actually.. my brd was lv 20.. the rng was lv 19

very correct and very...passionate lol
