The Happening

I saw it tonight, it was pretty good. The concept is great. I love horror movies where your constantly on the go to survive and escape so it was fun for me.

The wife was just weird though.

I haven't seen this yet but I really want to. I've heard that its pretty bad, but meh. I was happy when I heard he was working on a new movie, Don't think I can wait another 2 years for a new one if I don't see this one. lol

Each movie had something neat about it whether it was a 'good' movie or 'bad' movie.
I enjoyed unbreakable and Sixth sense, Signs was neat, as much as people complained about the appearance of the villains, you got to admit if you saw that on the news from some guys video capture, you'd probably shit yourself. Sometimes having something from stories is even scarier when they are depicted as so instead of something else. ( I especially liked toward the end the reflection in the tv, thing I could not look at my tv off for weeks after that.)

I had 'The village' figured out after the first 5 minutes or at least after catching a first glimpse at the capes they were wearing, the fabric, color and how it was hemmed was a give away. From there on I just learned to enjoy it and see how they were going to play that out.

Lady in the water was a fairy tale, and M. Night said so right off the bat, so that was another while it was odd, I let it play out and just enjoyed it regardless of expectations I may have had for that one. I did like how he did the creature, very cool. And wow did they make the actress look completely different as Gwen Stacy XD

He always finds ways to do awesome Cameos if if doesn't decide to take a main role, and knowing him, he will probably recycle one of the actors from this movie into the next, he likes doing that a lot. I am surprised that I keep hearing it is a gory movie, just doesn't seem like it would be his thing. guess he wants to get it out of his system.

Was it only me but did anyone else notice the really corny acting in some parts of the movie? >_> Yeah the main character was a good actor in many different movies, but he had a few really "forced" scenes or something, and was horrible acting to his standards.

P.S. This movie was awful, don't see it lol.

All his movies have that weird ackward feeling to it. the village, signs, even unbreakable, and yes some lines did seem out of place. Concept was interesting though.

lol Movie was so bad >_>

Unbreakable was his best by far.

Mark Wahlbergs acting was decent. He always plays tough guys that's why, this role was so new for him. He was supposed to be a goofy character and it came through.

Eh, didn't really like this movie.

>.> Guess I kinda had high expectations for it and kinda turned out bleh.

Some of the scenes were really interesting to watch. :x Would I watch it again? Nowai.

The movie sucked :| well.. the acting. The concept was cool.. but the acting was SOOOO BAD. Death scenes were pretty cool too. But I found the entirely implausible aspect of "closing windows and doors in cars or houses keeping you safe from airborn toxins" a hilarious thing.
