check out my life in that picture...I nearly shat myself because that was my last battle. It's all worth it in the end.

PS: you can do the 3 SL Method with 1 yag drink, a boiled crab and 2 mulsum...it's cheaper :D
 
When I soloed ifrit, It came down to me meleeing him to death.....just keep trying ^^b
 
Yeah, thats what I ended up doing in the end. Shiva was a smidgeon too strong for me though.

Why is Ramuh so hard? Only 3 tries for me, 1 due to using Hi-ethers (silly me). He paralyzes you and Carby opening move. WHOOPITY DOO! Let Carby die off before you do your nuking routine, people! A resummoned Carby has NO PARALYSIS and can nuke when able. And if you don't have WHM subbed to Paralyna yourself for a clean shot at an un-interrupted Searing Light...well I pity you. Get over him. His Shocking Strike blows chunks, too, as Carby will take the hate for hitting him while you're stunned as crap.

Shiva is the Ice-Queen bitch, though. Ultimate cheatin' whore. ><
 
Ramauh was the worst but SHiva can be a pain don't give up you will get her ^^
 
well if you want to do it the safe way you can always do that I did it the safe way beat garuda w/ no 2hr <Had had Loads items on me cause I planned to do all summons that day but accidently entered battle w/ 1/2 an hr til 2hr> But what you do the safe way costs more its simply you use ethers hi pots yag drinks ect. to have carbuncle melee a good 1/8 of the summons life out then you start the 2hr 3 times
 
I was lucky with Ramuh, got him my first try. He paralyzed me early on but I was able to remove it right away and continue the 3 SL method to beat him. Shiva was the tough one for me, took 3 tries to finally beat her.

Why I hate Ramuh over Shiva:

Shiva took me two tries to beat. Same with Ifrit and Garuda. Ramuh, on the other hand, took three tries. He was the only avatar that I had to try more than twice for.

Sufficient explanation?

I absolutley refuse to use items. I don't need no stinking items!!!

Hee hee, if items weren't sometimes necessary, why would SE have put them in the game?

Honestly, how long does it take to make back the exp that you lost at that early of a level? Why so much hatred?
 
So much hatred 'cos Shiva is a skaky bitch that didn't die when she was supposed to. Titan and Garuda know what they were doing and died first time, Shiva took persuadin'

Now she's standing on a street corner in Port Bastok if your interested in some 'company'. Look for a RDM called Big Daddy, he'll handle the arrangements.
