The Incredible Hulk

The Eric Bana movie was horrible. SFX were pretty neat but this looks... cool. Plus, Ed Norton is in it, so I'm excited at the better acting.

I'll agree that the last Hulk movie was a big steamer, but Eric Bana is a pretty good actor in my opinion. Of course I never really saw much of him besides Troy and a few others, he's also in that new movie The other Bolin Girl, which looks alright.

My fingers are crossed for this one, it has the Abomination in it so hopefully it will be good, cause he's a pretty good villain. Isn't the Abomination sorta to the Hulk like Joker is to Batman? Ya know the whole arch nemesis thing.

The problem with the last Hulk movie was that it spent too much time introducing us to Banner and his past and backstory. Noone was in the theater for any of that. We wanted to see the Hulk ripping stuff up and punching things. That was only a small percent of the movie. Other comic movies had the right idea. Less exposition, more action. Super powers everywhere, lots of stuff getting destroyed - that's a superhero movie. This Hulk movie seems to have learned from the last one. Of course, that's assuming this is a sequal to the last one. If it's a standalone ,we might have to endure 45 mins of childhood boredom and powerless David Banner.

It's my understanding that this film is supposed to be in the same vein as the TV show; it's already understood how the Hulk came to be, and while there are small flashbacks here and there, most of the movie deals with a) Banner trying to rid himself of the Hulk demon, b) the Hulk tearing ass around cities, and c) the Abomination (without the green scales!) tearing the Hulk up.

HMm, this looks so much better than that piece of crap that came out a couple years ago.

Back story was not the problem with last film. I can stand a back story ties new hulk fans with die hard ones. The problem with last one it was to childish. For sake the dogs went *poof* instead of *splat*. Plus story was totally wack with the whole father thing.

I wasn't a big fan of the Eric Bana movie, but this one peaks my interest for some reason. I have to get used to NortonHULKs face, looks a little young. Thoughts?

Look decent, can see this swinging either way, but don't think it will do much better then last though. As long as they don't hold back on content to make it a pg-13 movie it will do better.

Dam right, Hulk movie 1 was a disaster. They named his father David Banner as a homage to the guy in the Hulk TV series and then made him into the Absorbing Man. Which would've been better if they just made him "the" Absorbing Man anyways...

Plus Bruce Banner is a scientist, he's supposed to be skinny and fragile. This new movie will do justice.

I think this is a stand alone though, coz if anyone actually remembers the other movie ended with him in a Rainforest or something protecting crappers
