I'm helping Nyosan learn Sound blast on my bard, and decided to go to the Deadly Dodo spawn since there were several cockatrice spawns there. After killing 1 set of the pops, Deadly Dodo spawns right in front of us. I'd never seen him when I tried camping before, so I claimed him asap and we started killing. It took a while since it's a bard and a 26 BLU, but we managed to kill him and got the drop on my first kill. Very surprising given all of the horror stories about people going 0/20 on him.

EDIT: No TH either, Brd/Nin and Blu/Nin.

^_^ grats!! What does he drop? what does it do? I know how camping NMs can be a major butt pain. Like that time Raes and I tried to camp Mold. earring and ended up killing Ose instead because someone was trying to zone it out of the labrynth where we were camping XD

its for brown belt quest. and i think i went like 1/4 or 1/5. the horror stories are more on nue then they are on dodo tho

Yeah, he drops the Dodo Skin for the Brown Belt quest. We gave up a little later, which is when I got around to taking this picture. Now I just need to go camp Nue and Morbolger to finish up my brown belt. Anyone know if BLU learns any moves from Tigers or Malboros?

I "attempted" at getting him soporific and Razor Claw (from tigers) In carpenters landing the other day.

of course....unsuccessful...nice to know that someone else is there to help him with his BLU needs

I've killed that thing 4 or 5 times and only didn't get the drop once.

You can learn Claw Cyclone (Tiger) and Bad Breath (Marlboro)

At least one of the times I killed it, I got Dodo and Cockatrice Skins, and a G. Bird Feather. Then again, that was a long time ago.

Lol, I've killed him 6 times farming cockatrice meat, and he's dropped 5 of them. If I see him and noone is camping him, I ask if anyone in my LS needs him, they usually do, so I just have one of them zone in and party with me whilst I kill it. 5/6, no horror stories for me!

And not only do they drop them, but you can steal them as well.
