I had a day off and not much else to do in game, so I decided to camp Argus.
First off I'd like to thank SE for assuming their customers have no life and have time to camp NM's like this.
I sat in the Maze for roughly 14 hours or so waiting for Argus to pop. I was never once AFK. Finally He pops. Not in the little room where everyone I have talked to told me he pops there most of the time. Not in the little room where my friend camped and saw him pop there over 10 times. No but in the big room, where I was not. Some JP RDM claims no drop.
I almost turned off FFXI for a long time. A wasted 14 hours.
I decided to do the BCNM, I wanted a necklace.
We get ready to go, My orb is first!
...
We wiped. We made a Few mistakes, mainly getting paralyzed the whole fight, we just messed up.
I almost had it with this game at this point, 14 hours -40 seals and 40k poorer from buying elemental tools for this run.
I was just like, we are going to do this guys orb and I’m logging off. I figured if I was running back out there I should buy an orb maybe make some money, and try to forget about this shitacular day. We do the other guys orb with perfection. Nothing good drops.
My orb was up again, I just wanted to get this shit over with. Another flawless victory. Before I see what I got the other guys starts repeating.
“Go to hell I hate you!”
PCC dropped. How ironic.

I lol'd hard..... Argus isn't a mob you casually walk up on and camp for a few hours and get the drop. It took me roughly 100 hours of camping him with ToD and 100% claim rate to get it.
