I read the first few sentences and skimmed through the later paragraphs, that was more like some exotic story than a real medical report.

You're right, giving birth is a miracle, but I guess that gets old so people have to find a way to slut it out. I'm surprised her husband didn't find it insulting when she said it was the most pleasurable experience in her life or something, apparently giving birth is supposedly better than sex now.
