Every page was worth the $18.44 cents it cost me to read! One would think "for the cost of $8000, one better be able to do rocket science after reading." Well, I have even better news. After I closed this book, I realized I had gained the knowledge to spontaneously teleport! That's right! I don't even need this junky telepod anymore.

When that DeLorean from Back to the Future was on Ebay I just had to have it. I am actually from 1992 but got stuck in 2008 because the stupid thing broke down. Ebay doesn't have the options to give negative feedback after 16 years.
However, the car came with the Haynes manual but it didn't cover the overhaul procedures of the Warp Drive system.
I was so lucky I found this book. Even though it costs as much as the whole car I can now safely return to 1992.

It's pretty rare to see Amazon selling something at list price too. I mean, couldn't they have cut 5 or 10 dollars off that?

They always do free shipping on items over like, 50 dollars or something like that. But even on things that expensive, they almost never sell at list price.

First off, wow....just, wow. I used to think that my life was going nowhere, but I don't think I am going too far when I say that this book is a literary orgasm. I know, I know, you've read everything there is on Amazon and all you gained was 200 pounds, but this book changes everything; my sister tried to read the table of contents and her head exploded. True story.

Now Granted, some people chide this epic for being "too commercial," calling it the "Harry Potter of Chemical Shifts and Coupling Constants for Silicon-29," but let me assure you, the depth and scope of Gupta's insight is a blessing on all of mankind. I divorced my wife of 38 years the moment I opened the shrink wrap on this bad boy, for this book provides all the emotional and physical sustenance you will ever need. $8,539 for complete, unadulterated companionship? You win, Mr. Gupta, put me down for six.

In short, move over, Joyce, and dunk your head in the toilet, Tolstoy, there's a new sheriff in town.

Seriously though, what is this book for? I'm guessing since its got an ion (maybe? idk chemistry) that its got something to do with radiation?

I'm sure this book in the right hands is amazin'. Probably somethin' none of us could fathom but I think it's a necessary train of though. I'm right there with you guys though, $8k+ for a book is unimaginable.

My Pops has a few books over in the range of $2k but they are all necessary to his profession and personal interest of continuin' his education even in his later years.

It's steep but you have to consider the amount of resources that goes into creating a text like that and compare that with its niche circulation.

And I would say that writing fictitious reviews on amazon.com is a sad way to pass the time. Yes it's expensive, omg that's a real riot. Search for a new hobby, I think.

Writing a few made up sentences isn't exactly a lifetime commitment. They probably wasted just as much time as you did posting this or that I did posting this response.
