THE OFFICIAL 2008 FOOTBALL SEASON SMACK TALKIN THREAD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Your logic absolutely SUCKS.

We beat you, but you still have argument because of other teams we faced? No. Head to head matters most. The South didn't have to play the AFC North, did they? The NFC South played the AFC WEST!!! (Division winner will be 8-8) and the NFC North!! (0-16 Lions, 6 win Packers)

The South didn't play anyone! When they had to play real competition from the East, they got embarrassed! Again, I say good day to YOU sir BUT MY REDSKINS DID LOSE TO THE WINLESS RAMS LOLOLOL and BENGALS thats why our schedule was tougher.

Fixed that for you.

But what will you say if Carolina beats the Giants to get into the superbowl? Im just curious. Will you will you still say that Carolina is worse? I did say if the east won in the playoffs I would admit your division was better. DO PEOPLE HERE NOT READ THE WHOLE POST lol

Just like in the MVP thread. Airou gets mad at me for no reason. He made a MVP thread and I state my reasons for Manning over Warner and he takes it personal. I not once even singled him out or attacked him. Brydan I mean come on, you're 10x more offensive then me :P ... and people love you. EAST HOMERS.

Head to Head is very important by the way, I agree with that, especially for bragging rights.

edit: BTW i never stated which conference i think is the best, but you all assume I think it's the south. Actually I think it's the East because of the head to heads, but I think the South has just a big a shot at the superbowl as does the East.

Amen, except take out the White Sox.

We lost to the Deadskins, but we bitch slapped the Cowboys.

Glad the skins couldn't beat the 49ers. That was sad.

Eagles = Playoffs. Thank you Houston and Oakland :awesome:

San Fran isn't half bad though lol.

Pats miss the playoffs and they could very well be the 2nd best team in the NFL right now behind the Colts.

Honestly, looking at the match ups this week... I honestly think that we could see all four away teams win the first round of the playoffs.

That would be awesome. I'll settle for just Indy and Philly winning (</3 vikings).

An eight and a nine win team beat two 11+ win teams...

Well the 8-8 team has beat that 11 win team 3/4 of the last few games. The Eagles took down the Vikings, who played weaker opponents all year then what the nine win eagles team played. As for the Falcons... well, simply put: Shut down Michael Turner for a while and the Falcons got away from him. You give up on the run and they don't have to defend against it. Why put your rookie quarterback in that situation? Was just a bad gameplan, and the Cards entered prepared.

Next week, I foresee this: Ravens beat Titans, Steelers beat Charges, Panthers beat Cardinals, Eagles beat Giants.

NFC East Divisional-round playoff match up? There is no home team advantage. Thats the game of the week in my opinion.

I am going to go out on a limb and call a surprise game next week

AZ over panthers (very against spread) very close game
Titans over Ravens (with spread)
Giants over Eagles (with spread despite current momentum) but i think this one could go either way truthfully
and Steelers over chargers (with spread) blowout

I think that the panthers are way too cocky about the meeting and are not going to be properly prepared which will allow the cardinals who have been told that they are on borrowed time in the playoffs to prepare some method to contain DeAngelo Williams especially after how surprisingly well the AZ DL played last week and force the panthers to depend on Steve Smith and Delhomme. Of course i am hoping and somewhat depending on Boldin to be back for the cardinals and i think that this game will be close... On top of that if you look at their meeting in the regular season which was said to be 5 point spread for Carolina and they had an interception right at the end of the game to win it and now the spread is 10 but i think that the cardinals will surprise a lot of people and actually win this game not by much but i think it will happen due to poor prep.
