Wasn't certain how many people knew about this, but I felt it worth mentioning.
There's a key in Jugner rather similar to the Halvung Gate with its Cast Metal Plate. This key enables you to pass through the gate at (H-7), making both the Fortification and Ronfaure zone areas accessable from one another despite the dropoffs. (If you're on the Batallia side you still need to go through Vunkerl though.)
Other than ordinary convenience this also makes doing Crimson Domino or Vanguard-X in Jugner possible. Whereas it wouldn't be possible otherwise (the Gate Sentry is by the zone to Ronfaure.)
Firstly, a disclaimer. I owe props to this thread on BG, as I was pondering for days how it would be possible to do certain Campaign Ops in Jugner. Hopefully now I can shed some light on the subject to help people not be clueless, like I was.
The first step is to head to Jugner and examine the Wooden Gate at (H-7), twice. First for a "This gate is locked" message, then a 2nd time should yield the message "You see a half-moon shaped hole." This is the prompt that you can recieve the key. I recommend using one of the Campaign Arbiters to transport to the Fortification in Jugner and approach the gate's west side for the prompt.
Anyway, when you're ready, just Invis yourself (it's all you need) and head around looking for a ???, which will be on one of the Orcish lookout platforms throughout the zone. I've made a list of what I *think* is all of them. A few of these platforms have Tough Orcish Bowshooters on them, so caution is advised.
-The border of I-7/I-8 (WARNING: there is a drop-off on this platform that will render you unable to return if you don't have the key yet)
-The border of I-8/I-9
-The border of H-9/I-9, there's an Orc on this platform (must approach from south)
-G-7
-At the four-way intersection on F-7/8 and G-7/8
-Right next to the last one, at the border of F-7 and F-8
-The border of F-8/G-8, just a little bit south from the two mentioned above
-Near the border of F-9/G-9, some orcs wandering nearby
-F-10, goblins nearby
-Also on F-10, in the direct vicinity of the previous one
-E-11, very close to the La Theine zone in the present day
-Border of I-9/I-10, must approach from south, many orcs and gnoles nearby
-H-10, there's an orc on this platform
-H-10, just a bit south of the previous one, there's an orc here too
-Top of G-11, close to the Davoi zone, orc here
-J-8, must go by a dropoff to reach this one, the platform itself is another dropoff
leading towards the northeast part of the map where the zone to Batallia is, do not go by this dropoff as you'll need to start over again.
There are two others at K-7, but there's a fence blocking both, so I'm going to assume they are pointless/decorative.
When someone examines the ???, it'll repop instantly in a new location, just like the Halvung plate. It'll yield a permanent key item called Sliced Pole, which will open the gate at H-7.
Now that you know this, let's see some more Vanguard-X/Crimson Domino there.
