For the third time... gear does not = skill... I said that in my first post. For the last time, the gear he has takes time to get. In that time, some people learn things. Like how to play RDM even though you've never leveled RDM. Revear is one of those people. He's not dumb. He wasn't having a bad night. I talked to him on vent after that party because he had something to tell me. There were multiple times when he had no MP and they were still pulling. He got fed up with the leader and left the PT abruptly, if you want to flame him, flame him for something he actually did(ie leaving the PT without warning.)
In regards to the bolded part, that's true, just as long you don't forget the word *some*. There are plenty of people out there who've only levelled one job or one general type of job, have done all sorts of endgame on that job, but haven't paid enough attention to other job types to be able to play them remotely well. In other words, you can by all means attest that *Revear* knows how to play RDM well, from observation as he endgames on MNK. But it would be a fallacy to attest that just because *someone* endgames on MNK, they've not only noticed but learned from their RDMs.
Otherwise, I'd just like to point out the following:
1. i was keeping pld and myself refreshed
2. i was curing and feebleing the mob
3. i was curing dident u c me convert a few times cause i had no mp.
final y my friend was removed from sparta because he had work and couldent show cept for one KB and ive not shown to nothing yet i havent been removed whats up with that case closed. ter was ur fault i left.
and thank you to everyone who backed me nice to no people care.
and ter or anyone in that pt i was in wanna bitch about me send me a /tell
:nono:
- While grammar and communication skills do not necessarily imply competence at gameplay, they *do* imply intelligence and caring about how others perceive you. Which are generally beneficial traits (not *required*, but *useful*) for competence at gameplay. Abbreviating two letters out of words (it's not like you're having a real-time conversation with texting where you're in a rush, here...) and using hard to decipher grammar, isn't gonna win you any points.
If you're gonna make an impression, take an extra 30 seconds to be intelligible. A few misspellings or weird grammar here and there isn't a problem (and only a grammar nazi thinks otherwise), but when you take it to this extreme, you deserve criticism.
(Also, in before "this is a game/forum, not school/English/essay" response. Which is commonly known to be meaningless to any educated person who actually understands *why* you learn that stuff in school, so heads up so you don't bother to use that argument.)
- This account of events (busily doing usual RDM stuff, going through MP and needing to convert, as busy RDMs tend to do) differs from STEELFIST's account of events in the OP (standing around with constantly near-full MP doing very little). So I think I'll withhold judgment until such time as both sides agree on what you actually were or were not doing in that party.
