Rikkuu's actually a huge noob. He always has been actually. I went out on a Ballista against him once, and it took him like 3-4 minutes to kill me. The level cap was 60, I was exactly 60, and he was like Lv70 main. He spammed Penta Thrust on me, used every Jump atleast twice. Thing is, I had no buffs, no two-hour, two MP whatsoever. I was WHM. I knew I didn't stand a chance against him, so I just stood there and let him kill me. It still took him over 3 minutes.

That's such bullshit. Non buffed level 60 WHM taking hits from the most gimped 70 DRG would still die from one Penta Thrust after building TP on you.

I'd just like to point out that there is absolutely nothing wrong with souleater if used correctly.

Please note that correct use of souleater will at times depend on the skil of your mages, and sometimes ripping it off is just plain not a good idea.

The question in the OP didn't really have anything to do with drk, but I seem to have hit a nerve

The point I was trying to make about Drk is that there are certain times where souleater ain't such a grand idea.

Think of it more as the Whm that likes to Melee.
The Monk with a /sh boost macro.
The Paladin that uses Berserk.
The Blm that starts battles with Frost>Burn>Drown>Shock>Rasp>Choke.
The bard that would rather Give Peaon than Madrigal during battle.
The Rdm that doesn't Dispell Crawlers/crabs/beetles because he's too busy casting Haste and Enthunder on himself.
The war that doesn't grasp the concept of 2nd Voke.
The thief that can't SATA because they don't want to use macros.
The ninja that wants to sub whm to keep hate with spells like a Pld.
The Samurai that... it's hard to suck as a Samurai....
The Dragoon that won't open Distortion.
The Dark Knight who uses souleater at the worst possible time.
The Summoner that says Astral Flow is just for No perpetuation Cost and the actual skills are useless
The Ranger that still tries to stand up close and Melee.

Do you correct these people in /t or /p?

And if you don't like my example, think of one to replace it.

The Samurai that... it's hard to suck as a Samurai....

I partied with a SAM/WHM in Dunes who was always kneeling to get back his 20 MP, lol. His excuse was that he was farming.

Later on, I partied with him as a SAM/WAR (minor improvement, yay!) in Yuhtunga Jungle. Not only did he refuse to do the SC the party wanted him to do (the other members were predominantly JP, and getting really confused as to why he wouldn't listen to directions), but he was just spamming his WS then yelling at the others -in English- when they kept asking him to do Fragmentation. When he finally did try to SC, I think they got it off once or twice before he returned to solo WS spamming.

Eventually he wandered off, dropped down a hole (this was at the outpost) and suddenly Warp scrolled to Jeuno and ditched. Name is Peterwolf.

It is very possible to suck as a Samurai if you can't/won't even SC. It's your one awesome skill, use it.

but as far as sending {/tell} i already do this for the most part. some are cool about it, but the ones that start bitching and calling me a nOOb and i need to shut my mouth tend to piss me off. i usually make a fool of them one way or another :shock: i wont open my mouth or express my opinion unless i know that what your doing is wrong or could be improved.
