Cool looking vids and stuff, but who's going to get fired for replacing the Dual Shock 2 with a freakin' Batarang?
 
I agree, that controller looks horribly uncomfortable. Where are your hands supposed grip it?? I hope this is only a conceptual image.

I dunno about the controller... id much rather have a dual shock 2 any day, but if they can make the controller have the right feel to it, ill bite.

^.^ I'm really happy about everything I've heard so far about the PS3... though price will probably be a sticking point, as is the case with any new system.

Its like they tried too hard to look futuristic and instead it turned into a b-movie prop from the 40's. Seriously, what is with that controller? Its like a raygun or a boomerang for "Space Aberigionies". What are you supposed to do with it? Other then try not to get carple tunnel from holding it...
 
The Dualshock controller is perfection, I don’t give it long before either Sony or a 3rd party puts out a clone for PS3.
 
Well the dualshock does have copyright problems last I heard. :lol: I never cared for dual shocks, the handles were just to small to hold comfurtably. I like the look of the new one, maybe I'll finally be able to have a controller not designed for the hands of a 7 year old Japanese boy. :lol:
 
Overall, I think the PS3 'debut' was damage control. They want to keep downplaying the 360 for the next year+ so they can look absolutely stellar at E3 2006.

This generation is going to be very similar to what happened with Dreamcast vs. PS2 or PS2 vs. Xbox. From what I've seen of PS3, I think 360 is coming out more like the PS2 and less like the Dreamcast.
