Now, to finish our episode(maybe last lol).

To give a recap I had finally(thanks to TheFlock) been able to grab all of my whispers to get fenrir prime and we were moments away from entering the battlefield! I have to tell you though Fenrir is a beast, not sure how we managed against him, like the avatars before him he is extremely resistant to magic debuffs and much stronger spamming aoe dispel, so keeping reraise up is vital.

Things went smooth enough at the start

Our tank Numii died at 70% or 60% don't remember which but then DarkMagnus 2hred and fell shortly after, then fenrir used Howling Moon which wasn't fun I tell you the 759 dd was after my stoneskin was broken otherwise I would've been one-shotted.

Of course with a lack of a tank our blm goes splat as well XD... keep trying to put reraise up but of course the aoe dispel spam was horrible, resisted dispel(duh) when it buffed itself.

Things started looking bleak and Fenrir was coming after me, just dispelled my stoneskin, to make sure we had a raiser I used Chainspell > Reraise and then he killed me in one fell swoop, at least if we lost our future would be secure.

After I died, CycloneJon pulled out a diremite special(sexy hq) and manaa got her 2hr ready and let Fenrir Prime eat a lot of Predator Claws...Wasn't pretty but...

A fight well done, at least it's not like the other primes where it's too easy, to be expected from fenrir.

Not that I haven't said it before but Fenrir is a application for any occasion=D

Was in a mediocre pt until a few friends from TF showed up, quickest change from bad to good I've ever seen, had a pretty smart sch using aoe aquaveil for the utsu casters and using aoe stoneskin.

The Bst(Foxgloves) pretty much tanked the shit out of it and switched hate to her pet with ease, nin couldn't do much about it XD.

Of course even jug pets being dcish have their limits=/ never seen this much damage done to anyone at this level. 500 used to be a record for me until we saw this

Definitely turned out better than I thought, went for a change of pace and decided to kick back the ol' bst. I was attempting to keep all 3 of my backburners in similar levels so just in case I get bored of pting on one I can switch to another of the same level and keep progress steady.

Camp of choice for this level(34 at the time) Bibiki bay a little high but once you're 35 it gets smoother, messed with the efts it's only a prob if you mischarm really since they link quick. Using my anniversary ring(reserved for bst), it was a fun night.

The problem with BST: When you put the name on proudly every thing hates you, pc and mobs alike. Just can't go afk one moment without something happening...

lightsday=0 it's never boring on bst I tell ya nearly died if i didn't charm one sec sooner >_>;

Charming Coeurls= BIG NO NO when using /bst not at 75, extremely charm resistant but I thought I could talk sweet to those fellas=/.

Neisan decides to head to bed after getting tired of waiting for ose, of course when he leaves Ose comes out 2mins later lol...

=/, oh well I got a nice whisker to make a bow with though(/poke jamjam). I went to get a little trial work done with my dagger next with some of ArcaneGarden....

Okay internet's back and continuing our little anecdote; next day I thought i'd be clever and try to get bst to 40 for dynamis lotting rights. Well it didn't go so hot since I outgrew Bibiki(/cry) I had to go to SSG and try my luck there...

which didn't go so hot, there are times when you level bst you die so much at this time 3-4 times in an hour that you get the message that you should just move on and pick up another day >_>;

pending how many pieces i get I may be leveling drg^^

First trial

Okay, next day I decide to farm in Misreaux Coast off of bugards, now I don't think I have a hatred twoard any mob but if I did bugards would take the cake. I only went there because I thought farming there would be faster(since I had a lot of space). Well lo and behold I see Megalobugard pop.

I've heard that his regen is pretty strong but I'm like "Pfft, I'm a fucking Red Mage he's horseshit when I'm done with him."

I start meleeing him and realize soon as 73rdm/25thf that I can't beat this guy due to his regen, but lets go into what I did wrong and why the fight shouldn't have taken that long...

1. Convert- I wasn't really watching my hp, when i solo I don't really worry so much about it because my mp for solo is only ~500 well... not paying attention to your hp much can lead to lessened mp regain and lower hp(read: a quicker way to kill you). Basic rule of convert that I forgot >_>; I was suprised okay?!

2. I didn't think his hp tick be over ~50ish-60 (bio II and poison made little dents my dagger was the only thing bringing him down and barely).

Well at this point I was realizing that I bit off more than I could chew(first time right lol?), and began to call for help.

I fled down to the campfire area and converted and cured myself, I had an idea though, Mr. Bugard was closing in...

I'm not sure this is well known this is but, the game mobs have a lot of mp or so I read on alla of a blm aspiring 2k or so mp from a worm and it still had mp.

Well our trooper happened to be a mp so...

The battle started changing between the bugard and I; I stopped debuffing it because it couldn't kill me directly only by stalling with regen. I kept spamming ED on that trooper and it went pretty well until I absorbed over 600 mp from that orc then it went downhill again.

The bugard was at 20%ish and I kept getting returns of 29mp 20mp 12mp then 2mp...(seems like ED is a proportional ws in terms of absorption).

Well...lo and behold I hear Kay's voice in the ls, going to take some liberties for you to appreciate the humor

Well for another 5 mins or so it was me, a drained orc, and a ugly bastard 2 on 1. It wasn't fun.

You know when Byakuya is stabbed by Ichigo's hollow and he's just powerless? That's how I was pretty much until kay came.

A few dancing edges later he was down and I felt masculinated...no tusk drop either, I'll never farm here again EVER!

So then having nothing better to do I just hung out with kay and did some trial weapon work

Went to bed and got ready to exp

I also gave my pt the deathbait syndrome as well(read: use protection kids!). The pt wasn't so hot it had potential but lots of links made it otherwise.

everyone running twoards zone made me think of "Zomg scatter like nubs!" (yeah I need better one-liners shaddup).

Went to help vivi get a whisper for an avatar.

With Myrche down it was me 3 shadows and a stoneskin the strength of paper keeping the others from not dying. I don't think I had a trial like this since my little 25 cardian vs 40rdm solo years ago lol.

Occasionally hate bounced from nei and vivi trying to keep me alive, but we stalled long enough for ramuh to get ready. Oh yeah, spinning dive hurts D:

When levy got past 50% mark he started spamming recovery spells and at this point vivi had to 2hr. Which pretty much secured the win with my makeshift tank abilities.

phew, second trial done and that ends this chapter!

Just got back around this time and went to do dynamis same old as usual but had to get lotting rights back (/sigh) 1/4 but I came across my boss working very diligently on making our shell full of win as usual...
