Chapter 25:Kayleen Edition, Part I: Dancing with Daggers

This chapter will feature mostly Kayleen doing what she does best(read: owning the shit out of people), stay tuned for part II when we see Slaying with Scythes!

For now it's just me and finally cashing in the spoils of war from campaign

It's weak at level I but it's still slightly better than the original slow, tried it out on some rabbits and it added a second delay to their attacks more or less(maybe 2 it was awhile ago). Ecks was bumming me for a raise since he died in campaign (don't drks do that a lot?) and we were going to get points together

Helping Davion and myself to learn Ice Break

I like this ss a bit, the final line up before the showdown, granted he was only tough but it was still fun

I didn't get a good shot of it but the angle for the first golem fight all chars were lined up in a perfect perpendicular formation around it, really regret not get a good shot it only lasted for about 3 seconds before i moved.

This is something about Blue Mage that makes me mad...these monsters and many others get the cool looking weapon skills but what we learn can sometimes be crap....

Well I find myself in Lufaise meadows with some gil and some hides...the first thing I do is...

After about 10minutes I concluded that it had to be in her mog, so i requipped and decided to see what's so hot about thf. I forgot kay had such nice things such as r. harness which I got her from that run I scheduled in aqueducts(good times) and the sirocco kukri. Let's see if it's really worth it....

getting used to dual boxing...

i decided it'd be best to learn how to use thf by trying campaign a bit, then make macros accordingly. I didn't know melee could rack up points so fast I was getting like...1.3k for each half hour battle

of course evasion only does so much, godda keep up shadows...

I like this shot a lot too, it had a nice feel to it, with the way the sparks fly off from every side and kay centered with scanty clothes, it said

"When I wake up in the morning I piss excellence." kinda feeling

Now here's something I love about kay's job...

First 10 minutes into dynamis and it drops...I'm not even kidding

I forgot to add...the problem with Duelist Chapeau is the reason that it's rare...we only got 2 other relic during the run after this which was abyss burgeonet and scouter's jerkin. So really the only thing that can equate to its rareness is the sorcerer's pesastos. Kinda funny that we usually get a decent amount of relic (4-7) and the chapeau took up about 5 slots.

We were short of blm as well so rdms had to step up got kinda chaotic...but it was a fun change for me I guess.

It went fine for a couple of pulls but lo and behold a mishap occurs well two actually

I had gotten hate healing a kiter and I think he died, no big deal just kite Mr. bad and ugly until the alliance is ready to deal with him next, it was going ok until I came around the box area(think of the crystal area for vazhl tele those are boxes) and I got about half way until I saw something interesting...

There was a very perfect and neat line of demons in single file as if they were in the DMV

Here I come running with Prince Seere(whm nm) casting all these pretty banish spells and I bump into the line...

I'm sure you all know that being in the line for DMV isn't fun especially when you've come waaay past the opening time and there's a long line extending from the door?

Imagine someone cutting directly in front of you in the rudest way...

That's what I did and you know what?

I died in 3 steps after I broke past that line lol...

I was told that someone got aggro from nearby demons accidentally and brought them there...I extended the mishap to the main alliance somehow and killed just about everyone of us, derp.

I thought it was kinda funny how when we were all killed they all lined back up into a platoon formation and the eye was going up and down like it was inspection...lol

lolrmt farming on kay the next day...fun

No drop of course and it was near time for bed, I hate waiting on this nm but he alway gives nice drops, to show my appreciation

Basically, I put all of kay's gil on a mule of hers and leave it alone, then I sent the gils from my two mules (30k) as starter gil, and the stuff she farms she gets a percentage around 20-40% and she shouldn't run out of money! Keeps her gil away and from being used and if something goes wrong it's my gil.

Just need to make more money though lol, kay has been helping people a lot and it kinda shows didn't even have w. turban(Read: something to fix) or dragon harness or her old neptunal hand abjuration unlocked. So I have a lot of work to do ahead of me. I spent about an hour or so muling her stuff to her mules then keeping on the stuff she needs for her jobs in mh.

At this point I had a pretty good hold on how to play thief so I had made macros for each part of her job

I always wanted to play with this(read: just a Seiryu Sword)

I really hate campaigning here, I was dual boxing too and a shitload of spells flying about= Dead kayleen

Just when I send khi to sandy s, sandworm sneaks up on kay and decides to take a little advantage of her ass

HUR HUR SANDWORM DONG IN YOUR ANAL CANALS KAY?

Remember this, you may have taken your evasion from 1-275.9

But when that sandworm put you on your back he pushed that extra .1 for you and capped your evasion as he wiggled it hard 3-4 times before you died.

So when you get back and look at your evasion remember how it got capped^^.

crit merits are nice and it'd help my blu a bit, I didn't realize that just one had an effect I noticed fairly soon in my damage.

Kay this is why I need Aura Steal....I went to SA the bastard for the kill but I didn't think dread spikes be up since people usually dispel it but this ss made me lol.

At least I'm learning now instead of doing this in an exp pt right? This would've cost you lots of exp from me learning, another reason why I love campaign lol

I ended up hitting perfect dodge and swapped to af feet and hit flee

A good 45 seconds of flee and he gave up

Basically where I fled was from above the mountain where the sandworm was where I was was when the flee effect ended....

I got such an adrenaline rush and laughed my ass off lol, of course it took about 10mins to walk back but I didn't care.

of course my little stalling didn't keep him out long enough he was back looking for bloody meat when I got back.

I know it's wrong to say but it was funny as hell watching people squirm like little ants running from that thing and I mean really funny.

Ah yeah there's some drk in there but, I didn't do much with it. that's a good stopping point for now...I have to get to play the game sometime right?!

mmm....absorb-tp goodness highest i got so far

another good reason why campaign is such a good testing ground for jobs...absorb spells seem to draw a nice bit of hate especially when you ws twice in a row and granted they weren't even high in damage....doesn't seem like I can self sc due to casting and timing though lol.

Should've put dread spikes up as well...of course that'd just make it a slightly slower death rofl

guys were bitches to my drk, tanked my dick off on them of course without the nm status they'd probrably rank as easy prey but drk was hella fun

it also seems...that every yag nm or maybe all nms are immune to stun

decided to see if kay would get any medals since she almost got her ribbons taken away

hmm...attention to detail much lol?

this nm has a history actually, it was around when Tau was first released, this nm was considered unbeatable, well that's not neccesarily true. I was suprised that it spammed firespit though and murdered me right off the bat since that's a tp ability...however this nm as you can tell is a ninja nm.

His clones actually do damage with him(read: spam firespit with him) the more damage he gets the more harder it gets, i think he can use use some sort of variation of mijin gakure with the clones but it's been a long time...didn't think I'd meet him though lol

hmm...the more we spend time the more we were fucked, lol my tools were sucking i thought just 7 of them would work but this is what I have left over after the first ebony door...
