Last topic for tonite: The Blue Magic Gathering Khi + Iso vs. Blue Magic Gathering...

The three spells I am after that I got 2/3 thanks to Iso
Poison Breath= X (Gusgen Mines)
Claw Cyclone= O (Jugner Forest)
Soporific= O (Carpenter's Landing)

Been planning it for some time to get blue mage spells duoing with iso on her drg(22) and my blu(24). In something totally unrelated I got Empress pin the day before by going 1/0 on Valkrum Emperor!!! Anyways back to the story

Iso arrives in sandy I wait at entrance and we get ready for hell(as it usually is) for blue magic

This was probrably the most fun of the three zones that we went to the flytraps were pretty easy to beat the water elementals almost killed me would have returned the favor but I was low on mp I got the spell on its 2nd use i believe

Claw cyclone in Jugner would have been quicker but tigers were kinda hard to find

beautiful place imho most pics below are self explanatory

Strat: Khi=main tank zerging with blue spells and Iso staying behind to avoid drill branch(frontal ws) and back up tanking worked fairly well. We killed it barely however...the next owned us badly only reason because i should have told iso to voke earlier since it tore through me easily

I thought I could learn pinecone bomb early still worth a try(read:yeah right LOL)

Thanks to Dreu i got claw cyclone and bud lv your blue mage its a great job it just requires a lot of patience

Claw Cyclone= sweet should have gotten a ss of it in action oh well thanks to Dreu i got it finally after the second tiger after he got there and we had revenge on the tree.....'s mother Dreu killed the original=/

Okay Gusgen Mines was hell I couldnt even get past the second room because the ghouls were kicking my ass around....repeatedly Iso had to afk she still got aggro here. I think that I can maybe be strong enough to get past the skele's and kill the dogs farther on AND be able to make it back to iso if she got aggro with skeles all I could say after we both died was...*check text* LOL Khi

Iso came back on rdm and it was serious business i followed her and just hope I would get this spell to make clear mind(fyi Soporific + Poison Breath= Clear Mind I). I had to afk and I trusted Iso to help me get the spell but hey no one is perfect. Of course I remembered before I logged that I could have subbed bst and just go to the Gustaberg zones and camp wolves... /faceslap self...

The cause of my second death there he killed me before i could get sheep song off, it killed iso because she was afking walking the dogs I think tried to get her to the comp with calls but meh death is usually how it ends with my adventures. I was tired and I know Iso was so i just dced out of FFXI there my body is still down there havent logged back in, but then again do i REALLY WANT TO?

Really fun pt and according to everyone (who was 75+ in their other jobs) it kinda ran like a merit pt the pt set up was Nin/war, Sam/war, Blu/whm(gimpy me), Brd/whm, Brd/whm, and I cant remember the sixth atm...

Topic at hand: Dunes and the subjob lving

As I promised many of my friends lsmembers,qcdn,etc I would lv my subs after i got rdm to 60

WELL some jobs are a blessing to lv aka whm and thf(blu sub) while others kick me in the ass for my err past sj choice(Yes that's you Black Mages out there...)

Let me break it down

Whm= I get myself killed but I keep everyone alive or mostly which is kinda of a nice responsibility

Thf= I shank stuff in the back and Perfect Dodge with voke at low lvs has helped me and my pts survive the hell of dunes plus it's a mpk job pulling is fun even though I dont even hit the mob half of the time with my 'rang, dd is ok not fantastic often I split sa and ws since the damage from both comibined dont do as much as the ws split apart

Blm- I do decent damage the elemental skill of mine is only slightly better than a rdm at dunes lv fortunately they grow apart as i get higher. Only thing that changing my job to blm means that I have the def of a school girl and instead of my pt dying I die...=/

First rannoch who has helped me out a bit through dunes either pl or lving with me as his whm

/poke Kah pled me a few times for a Xmas present

The best part of dunes is the MPK keeps me putting my flag up everytime=)

Party decides to fight a crab we somehow find that it is an very unusually powerful crack powered crab i try to tank it with perfect dodge and let the pt pummel it but we lost...then i have a good laugh while the pt breaks up

Helping Cadimus out awhile back

First I had to bug a friend of mine for a tele which of course made her happy to oblige...

We divided up and Me Kayleen and Tarn would tele while the rest would come the regular way
