I managed to get my pictures and I'm uploading now, I usually use three words to name a chapter but I think I'll just leave it at one since there was a lot of stuff done before I was booted off. So we'll call it

Chapter 27: Kracken Arm

Starting....now.

Ok I've been out of the game for a month and counting...but I managed to just now get all of my pics uploaded hopefully I can get some pics up and put the subtitles I wanted under them a month ago >_>;

(Usually when I take a picture I have what I'm going to say under it figured out and ready and I just remember it, but I've been busy so not everything may get it's poetic justice...).

Did some pvp with darsha and got horribly owned, I really suck at pvp but it's fun as hell. Thing is about Darsha though he isn't an ass about it

no victory dance or any sort of taunt...I wonder if I was boring darsha or if he was just trying to be nice lol, probrably the former

tried kiting...but aparently I was too retarded to even be able to kite him...in dusk....that's what I hate about my gallery sometimes...anything signifigant I have to add but I'm a fair sport.

spoke too soon it seems(again) something interesting I learned about wyvrens...they can ws while their sleep and regardless of tp, it would make sense since I had stacked sleep II on soryu after my first sleep darsha wsed before sleep and I got a breath, he got tp again and wsed while soryu was asleep. Caught me off guard a bit.

We thought about doing another round but this was like 1-2am in the morn...so we had to head out

did some quick farming and skill up later on for trial weapon access

a bit late but here's my stats! I decided to get the pain over with Charby and went to get a ToD...we found a new person so we decided to pick him up...

For those that don't know...Ecks hates being on pld, he only goes onto pld if Kay has to force him too or in this case to get ready for a nm like charby. Ecks wont say that he hates being on pld now that he has relic but TheSlayers know all too well...

damn I didn't know my balls were so big that everyone had to talk about them...people wonder why I have such a huge ego and my people whether of dynamis or social...talk about me when I afk=S

camping is...fun

well at least i wasn't entirely throwing my time down the drain we got bored...fairly quick everyone either logged or left and I watched for Charby, eventually I went to bed and kay came back and killed phes. I had a funny dream about killing charby and getting that sword, probrably the first time I've dreamed of anything nm related twoards the near end of it I told myself I'd find myself with charby looking at me when I woke up. I woke up at about 7am and found a gem

I had to make sure I wasn't sleepwalking and that I was awake because I just saw Charby in front of me...which shouldn't have happened since charby is a lottery pop. Kay was suppossed to be killing the phes but went to bed and didn't kill anymore and let more repop...

but chances were that she logged and they hadn't repopped so charby had a chance of popping and he sure as hell did, I opened aim up and asked driker to call kay quick

But trust me I wasn't complaining that I saw that Mother-of-Pearl Amorph right in front of my eyes but we had a little rain on that parade...

Well I thought that it'd take 2-3mins at least for her friends to get through SSG to here so I had some time to kill the manta since I was going to attempt to kite/dot until kay got there

I asked to thf to stand back since I was going to kill the manta first then get charby and didn't want to mpk him/her

So I was fighting the manta with my mage gear...(i only brought my mage gear since lol @ fighting charby) and it took a lot longer to kill it at about 10% of the manta's life the rdm of the thf came in and claimed charby...

I really shouldn't have been so nice and warned the thf that I was going to kite nor kill the manta X_X, but then again I wouldn't have lived long anyhow with the manta floating around.

...sigh more later I have to head home! just getting to the good part too!

also...peachy keen is used to describe something negative ironically we think it means something positive peachy means bad, peachy keen means pretty bad but either tense whether sarcastic or serious applies in the sense kay says that

I came back around 4-5 and grabbed some buds and got ready for the wait, I also ran into xal again. I miss that comical fucker

pretty soon of course people had to afk and do stuff and I got a bit desperate. Xal was afk for a bit but just before Davi went afk...

people weren't kidding when they said this guy can attack fast, I think it was about 3-4 attacks in a single round and it happened when I blinked so I didn't even see myself go red or die lol.

Well I casted dia II on davion and I pretty much found the same fate asking why...fortunately I had rr up though

Is this why Xal doesn't hang out with me? =/

I also forgot a basic fact about monsters which is pretty much why we lost...the reason Chary raped khidir like no tomorrow was because of the speed of its attacks...I should've remembered that hate is lost with each hit and when it is nearly lost a person doing an action that generates slightly or greater hate will be first on the hate list.

Because the people fighting were mostly getting the multiple attack rounds it's almost as if we were fighting a freshly pulled mob with no center of hate, which would explain why kay was the last to die due to evasion and shadows and why evasion along with elegy is wanted for this nm.

Or in short...the key to beating charybdis is being able to slow down it's attacks.

While we were recovering, we found a slightly steamed xal that came back from afk lol...

round two was more successful

also lucki had logged in and i asked him to form with avi, who i pimped secretly on davion to come=S

at this point though, we pretty much had my sword in the bag, so I started nuking he was down to about 1% after about two tier IIIs then the most ridiculous thing happened

kay was so concerned with trying to kill me, she forgot that I can get charmed too...I nearly killed smu until she got smart and reposed me and switched targets...

plus it's not so bad that kay gets charmed but when i get charmed and she tries to kill me with buffs...ice spikes > kayleen

I was bored and saw db shouting some ksnm i never heard of. I had a stack of ks to burn as well so I figured even if I didn't score some loot then it should be at least entertaining. What we were fighting in question was a simple ram nm named Aries.

The fun thing about this nm is that it sleeps....a lot it literally falls asleep in battle and has high hp regen along with tp regain

now the tp regain isn't really a problem since we were feeding it tp fairly fast, the most annoying thing about this nm was great bleat(strong curse) and it's petrification ability.

once the pld was down we pretty much had to stop and let it sleep, I kited it a few times and used dots but vs it's hp regen it pretty much stayed at 99%

we tried kiting it up and down the ramp, when i did the behemoth ksnm with AG it was easier to attack and reduce damage by having melee fight on the sides and follow pld up and down ramp

since he sleeps a lot it's pretty easy to kite and he tries to get wses off but they're mostly short range in relation to keeping kiting distance

also, it all depends if got what it takes in the pants lol

after i said that it woke up and came about 2 steps...

then fell asleep again

like i said kids don't trust khi to find his way lol

the aries ksnm was unecessarily difficult and we lost a few times desert swarm ftw

oh and this isn't my orb

we went to get dune boots for darsha, was a fun fight. the nm though has a nice chunk of hp and with the tp feed constant needle spam is fun

Well drik comes back and i raise then kay pulls a bee train and i log out and log back in to find drik dead and another puk pop. It was pretty hilarious but at the time I was mad as hell

The famous kisser camp ladies and gents, at this point after we got healed up and moving Drik and Kay wanted to do their own thing, which at first bothered me since they have a bad habit for dying but on second thought it's better to just leave it be.

Actually drik told me they got quite far, almost there before dying

went back to breaking trial weapon i'm about halfway done with it at least parser said i got about 90wses in, the joytoy really helps a lot with breaking weapons then there are the times i've been using it doing events for friends and such so it'll be done a lot quicker than dagger

got bored pretty quick and volunteer to help with meeze's dune boots nm

fought our way through the lamia didn't bother with skeles since you only need sight to open doors and...skeles are annoying

the search for the corpses continues, you know thinking back we should've tried and destroyed the mirror but we probrably would've died

the mobs here of course are much tougher, which also reflected for the qutrubs also

I think Kay never fought Qutrub before she was getting a damage high >_>;

We did this for about 20 more minutes with no luck and we had a few deaths to boot, Davi said it was time to crash and we headed out

2/3 spells wasn't bad, specially one that wasn't expected!

Went and had a crappy pt on smn the next day then about 2 hours later I got a pt to an awesome one, I got about 2 levels under 2 and a half hours and I forgot ring(read: 52-54)

Logged and got some sleep and woke up and did the usual thing, waiting on dynamis entry and took a quick cat nap...I walk to my comp to find Kay crafting on my head, it look like she was doing some sort of odd back massage with an emote but...

Kay is trying to blow my head up, or maybe my ego I couldn't tell but I felt elated that night, that night was decent but bastok is pretty nice generally with relic. Had one of those wipe coming and we all had to wipe so we could get back up and restart but I wanted to die on top of someone to finish this chapter, I was trying to follow kayleen originally but she ran too far with too many mobs which would mean I wouldn't have much of a chance to die on top even if I did catch up...

Had to think quick, and I spied a dead body and acted without hesitation...

I'd like to thank Willian a lot for this shot and letting me use it; was just too funny to resist not taking

This was supposed to be the end picture for this update but I got the most unexpected tell from Darsha

Joytoy was doing wonders, fared well with whittling down hp along with enspells

Joyeuse itself is like a combo of two weapons i used a lot

Hornetneedle and a Gold Sword put together of course with less base, but when you use a joytoy and you're an rdm do you ever worry about base=S?

they had a well geared rdm with them as well so it turned in their favor also that I tanked about 2 people(i think)

Have to say i love you ridill wars, makes good ice spike fodder

same with fast attackers too! I died here but I was going in after my main pt went in and died, I assumed that a constant attack would wear them down or something like that after I died I rested and buffed up

This was funny here, I saw the mnk/brd at 21% and went to finish him off as well as do some damage I melee him for a bit and get him down then ws....

well he lived with that 1% @_@#...and I died

change in the tide of war! (for a short time)

Had to hand to Darsha on my next match I went in and only saw the war so I took him on, the melee alone were not much of a challenge only when together I got him down to 90% or so when I see someone rush in and some wooshing and a "pow" sound

I blinked and I found a dead war and khi sheathing his sword lol

I was pretty impressed so I had to take a little kneel not as in a you're greater than me!

and it was a short lived goal too

At this point I had about 2 minutes left and we were losing...no doubt there and I was tired and I decided to go out with a bang.

I waited until I started to see my party members' hp drop and got ready

I was about to CS > Tier III spam, I really don't like using CS though it just feels like I never do enough regardless of the outcome and it's another 2 hours that I can't use it.

But I was pretty much ready to fall asleep so I said what the hell and turned that bitch on

*runs into a slaughter fest*

It got pretty messy pretty quick for the other side, about 5 well placed nukes pretty much killed them, I got silenced at the end by tremna but the damage was already done since I had mp for only one more nuke and CS wore off.

However I got a nice little picture to close this chapter with, we are hardly even but here's a little payback for dancing on my corpse
