The problem is that humor isnt the simpsons, to me they had clear storylines through an entire episode, and built the jokes on the situations.

Like the tell-tale diarama, thats a great classic simpsons episode. These new ones are forcing the laughs by making dumb homer-is-stupid jokes. Every new episode I've seen is all about homer. I greatly prefer bart episodes (but I haven't been watching the new episodes, just reruns of them, so if im wrong let me know.)

The makers of simpsons are finally realizing that there old school child safe humor is no good for ratings. So they are going to more family guy jokes.
