Oh my god I am sooo excited for this!!!! I am a huge Sims 2 fan and I think this game will be incredibly awesome because of the realistic features they added like giving birth in hospitals, personality traits, etc. Omg!!! Can't wait :D

I was also so upset when they pushed the release date from Feb 20th to June 2nd!! ; ; Like fricken 4 months ; ; ; ; ;; ;

Anyone else looking forward to this?

Sims 3 is gonna be awesome, but 1 down side... DRM!

Because of the Spores conflict, i haven't brought any PC game published made by EA.

Watch they gonna do the same like Spores, 3-5 Installs only.

and EA games now are bad. they all either too short and sucks really bad lol

NFS:Undercover was a huge hype, but when they got it, was a huge disappointment. I lost hope on EA...

But I will get Sims 3, from someone who cracked it and disable the DRM

What's DRM mean?

What's DRM mean?

Worthless copyright protection that only ends up hurting the honest user. It can result in something as inconvenient as a phone call to a hot line, or as huge of a pain in the ass as buying a new copy of the game. But only the honest users suffer through having to do it.

anyway lets stay on topic, this topic was about the Sims3 afterall and not DRM.

i hope they don't need uber computer to run it XD

Sims 3 look great btw :)

i would play it. but i won't buy retail copies of it :P

I'm buying it for my sister. She got very sad when she learned they changed the release date =/

If they never fixed the issue with bloating whenever they released an expansion in Sims 2, you'll really need something more up to date.

I'm not too sure, Sim3 don't use those "zones" anymore it seem, everything is loaded all the one time, that mean you got like 30 sims coming back and forth into your house, that can create some serious lag. and all those texture and detail need to be renderized

Either you wait like 20 minute to load (SPEAKING IN GENERAL! NOT TALKING ABOUT USING QUAD CORE!) or get some serious lags while traveling around the places

That's what I was worried about. What I take on it is that it will probably become very laggy only when you are zoomed out. When you are zoomed in there is less graphics to include etc. I cannot wait till this comes out! It is so detailed, so realistic, and loadless houses!!

The more I think about it, discuss it, and research it the more anxious I am to get it!!!! lksjdafgkdsjfg lol

Everything isn't loaded all at one time. It's just seamless. It loads/offloads things as you move around, like an MMO or an Elder Scrolls game does.

Even Left 4 Dead doesn't load everything at once in a level, including Witches and Tanks, because of the sheer amount of zombies that'd be would be too much for any computer. It loads them in blocks depending on how large the level is and how far you've progressed.
