PS3 The Sly Collection

Anyone pick this up yet? It's great replaying all the Sly titles again, this time with trophies for each game, including 3 platinum's.

Also has some new mini-games playable with the Move, complete with trophies, but you can also use a standard controller to play them.

3D support as well, and the first 2 just look gorgeous in HD, the third not so much because they changed the engine and it didn't look too bad in the first place.

Anyways, keep the HD collections coming Sony, Team ICO one next.
Oh, and Ubisoft is releasing a Prince of Persia HD Collection for the PS3 in EU on November 19th, no NA date yet though.

I'm thinking about picking this up. I've never played the originals and getting 3 games for $40 doesn't sound so bad.

I would soon, they're more a niche title imo, and I think they'll be hard to find in a few months compared to the GoW Collection.

Sly 4 Teaser Trailer after getting all the trophies in the Collection, hopefully hear more about it after Infamous 2, and can't wait to play a new Sly Cooper.

Any word on these becoming downloadable titles on PSN? I haven't picked this up yet, but I'll probably hold off if it's going to be a download so I can have it on my PS3 and my parents' machine as well.

Not sure, GoW Collection did eventually, but that's more popular.

And honestly, physical copies are hard seemingly hard to find for a lot of people, I'd pick one up if you could.

I beat Sly Cooper 1 and I have to say that I really enjoyed the game. There are some trials that you have no choice but to die several times until you learn the patterns but it never was too frustrating. I was surprised by the amount of system/mission structure changes between 1 and 2. I'm not far enough into 2 to make much comment on it.

The Master Thief Challenges are difficult. I'm not sure if I'll take the time to get them all.

Got the collection today, my god these games are going to be easy to get a Platinum for.

I am not a huge fan of Sly 2 so far, I don't hate it but it is solidly in the mediocre category right now. I like Sly as a character and I like playing as him. I like Bentley as a character but I don't enjoy playing as him unless it is as a turret but hated the helicopter bomb dropping. Murray as a character is so-so for me but playing as him is ok. I guess my point is the pacing is a lot different in the game and playing them one after the other isn't probably helping.

I think I'll focus on some more GT5 and some Dead Nation and come back to Sly 2 later.
