The snowball is rolling

well as an individual that has served in the unites states military i have to say i cant find any fault with the logic that is presented in that argument against the ban. i can say from personal experience that the last thing i wanted to deal with during my time in was an irritated OIC that was feening for a smoke.

Doing away with cigs would be a good thing. IMO anyone that needs a drug of any type to feel better is just covering up a weakness. When i hear those that smoke say "i'll stop when i want to", I'm already betting that you wont, ever. Brightblade says that he and his lady spend over 2,000 a year on cigs. think of all the gas you can buy for your car with that money. lol

but yeah i didnt see thids going anywhere. now isnt the time.

Heh, I'm gonna smoke $2,000 a year away when it could be going towards something better. Like my childrens college funds. But fuck that. Daddy needs his cigs.

Gotta show the bitchez who's in charge.:bb:

Long term drinkers get something called Alcohal dementia. Holes in their brain, they get violent and hurt people around them. They can not control themselves or their moods and forget very easily. People who try to cold turkey not drinking wind up killing themselves by going into shock from not drinking. You can cold turkey stop smoking without killing yourself.
In the end we are granted the FREEDOM of life liberty and the pursuit of happiness. If they want to smoke it is their right to. I personally do not smoke. I grew up in a family that did. Four of the five children are smokers. Four out of five are drinkers. They grew up seeing these things, so they did it. Both drinking and smoking hurt the people around them this is my personal experience. In the end we do not need the governement to tell us it is bad. We already know, and CHOOSE to do them. It is great living in a country where we actually have the choice. The Government could easily mandate that nicotine not be added to cigs.

You're talking about immensely extreme drinking in relation to moderate smoking...

You want to choose to give yourself emphysema or lung cancer, go ahead, but don't expect the government to enable you, or help you get over it when you finally decide to give it up. More over, don't taint the people around you with your disgusting habit just because you are "free" to do so.
