Yes yes yes, we already have a listing over in LS recruiting. But it's quite out of date, and since we have the end-game section here, might as well put in a shell listing so people new to the forum know what shell's what. And a bit more organized than the other one.

Post the shell name, shell leaders, number of members, and a quick description. Which category your shell fits into would be good, too. And if it doesn't fit into one of these, say what category it fits into, I'll add it. Recruitment status and other such obviously goes over on Linkshell Recruiting, so we won't worry about that here.

You can delete this (seeing as it's for people listing) but 90% will be "Multi-Purpose"
so how about breaking each down? Lots of categories.. not so many in each?

Don't bother putting Wyrms till next year, only one NA linkshell does them succesfully and it's pretty obvious which.

Well, too many categories. Would be easier to just make a list, and list what each of those LS's focus on (being one or all of the above)

We've done it ourselves too in 2 hours a long time ago, and that is doing them succesfully.

Yeah, I'm not gonna be the one blamed for turning this board section into the next flameboard (Even though that future seems imminent), so if you plan on keeping the innocence of this board, never mentioning your LS would do good.

The idea behind the list is primary focus. If you're a HNM shell that dabbles in sky, you're still a HNM shell. If you're a sky shell that tries to fight a wyrm maybe once a month, you're still a sky shell. I don't think there's any shell on this server that does Sky, and fights wyrms regularly. Whichever a shell does more of, that's its category.

So, uh... can we stop this flame before it starts, and post some shells? Or should I start filling in this myself with the shells already posted, and you can tell me which ones no longer exist?
 
I'm honestly not sure what to do with Limbus, but Dynamis already has its own forum inside of Event Scheduling, and, well... How much contact is there with dynamis LS's, besides recruitment and good times posts?

Ah well, added to the list.

Dynamis may be considered endgame seeing as how lvl 70+ players are its main participents.

Thanks Tymon, now I don't feel quite so much like making this thread was a waste.

Now, can people maybe provide some more specific descriptions, or is it gonna stay like this?
 
hey, no arguing already;)

i think those categories are pretty good... i would consider removing the multipurpose, as it doesnt really tell you much that the other categories doesnt say.

also, the leader name and descriptions are to be filled out by the leader correct? (according to your format, that is)
 
Posted by leader would be nice, because then people know who the shell leader's forum name is... But as long as it's posted by somebody in the shell, I could care less about who posted it.

Multipurpose is there to let people know the shell does a lot of stuff, so that they don't have to look at the lists, see the shell is in there multiple times, and make the conclusion themselves.
 
Please include SephirothzArmy. We are an end-game LS, focused on Sky, pop NMs, and ToAU.
